.......in good omens?  Mr L. was outside a few minutes ago and low and behold, there lay in front of him a baseball cap that read "Touched By An Angel"  AND IT HAD TO HAVE FLOWN IN FROM SOMEWHERE....... :angel:
 
Now I'm encouraged for this upcoming week!
 
And ya'll thought I would ask if you believed in Santa?  Grin
Well, do ya?   If you don't, do you know what happens on Christmas Eve?  Right!  No presents for you!  Cry

Yep, I believe in Santa.  My bank account believes in him too Shocked
 
Luci, from everything I have read lately, it sounds like you need a couple of angels sitting on your shoulders.  I hope this is just the sign you needed to realize that you aren't alone, and that there is someone helping you get through this.  Take care.

Chick, I guess you are right about knowing I'm not alone.  WE do know that we have so much to be thankful for, and if we never get the money back, we'll be OK!  And if we didn't look at it this way, it really would tear us up.  What hurts both of us most is the fact that it is our life time friend's daughter.  He has been so ugly to us and that does hurt, also ruins our friendship forever.
 
Yep, you're right about that bank account believing in Santa.  With 10 grandchildren, our Santa has  holes in his pockets!
 
We are donating our big 9' prelit Christmas Tree to the church and the minister called this morning to tell me they would love to have it.    We will put it up tomorrow and I have bolts of unused ribbon to dress it with, also gold and some large ornaments also.  They may not need anything else.  It will go in the mall area/lobby.  This is where folks gather before and after the service to visit.  No more in the street or sidewalk!  He has made us Ministers of the Christmas Tree from now on!   Said, with tongue in cheek, hahahahahaha.................
 
I also confided in him what all is going on and he was so supportive and understanding.  Told me we were put in a corner and we did what we had to do.  
My husband's older sister is having knee replacement on Thursday in both knees and then our friend with the lumptectomy on Friday.   He is putting all of this on his prayer list and we sure need it more than we need  Santa.  
Since he knows all the parties involved he understand our sadness over the court situation.
