..... And the judge granted an injunction on the couple and froze everything they have together and separately and the trial is set for April 1. This means they cannot transfer, sell or get a loan or even, (get this for this is the funny part), a divorce! hahahahahahaha,
they have to stay married until they pay us back the money, plus interests (this won't hurt them since interest is so low), and also pay our attorney fees!!!!

In other words, they can do nothing until the money and expenses is paid back to us.

Also means he can't find another wife and be married in 3 months as before! Our attorney and us were standing outside the courtroom chuckling about this turn of events for these two small time con-artists!

As the old saying goes, "don't get mad, get even!"
We're sure trying! ........ and chuckling at this coo we've pulled of with the help of one intelligent attorney! They really thought and especially the girl and her parents that we would just lay down and let her walk all over us and keep the money, NOT!

The sad part is our ex-friend and the friendship he has lost from two loyal friends he has had for his almost 65 years. We three go back to first grade, taking golf trips together, dinner out, dinner at our house, shopping trips, hunting trips. We'll be fine but he is missing us badly, we've already heard from other friends.

Al his daughter had to do the day she transferred the money from their joint account to one for herself is write us a check and she would not be in this mess. We did not want to take this action. However, when backed into a corner, what would you do?

I can't add more either addams. Luci, you and hubby did exactly what you should have done: got an atty who layed down the law instead of you two laying down and assuming the fetal position.

Good good good for you. It's about time were general citizens stand up against people like with and not be afraid of making waves against such idiotic people.

What pieces of crap they are. In the end, losing a friend of a lifetime is nothing compared to what you'll be gaining. That would be self-respect and common sense.

My ultimate goal is to stop this male, who is fascinated by his own existence and thinks he should not have to work like others have to have to acculmulate enough for retirement and a comfortable living! My husband has gotten up at 4:40 A.M., for 40 years. Then here comes this Mr. Personality con who thinks he shouldn't have to work for a living, just live off other's hard work.

Just so they leave us alone, don't try to contact us in any way, EVER. We want no apology from them now or months, years down the road, just stay away from us.

We do have other friends and they know the situation and the people. How sad to have fraud and conspiracy to fraud filed against you. This kind of thing would just kil me and I certainly would offer an apology and make my daughter give the money back, pronto! But then she would never do this to begin with, so I'll not have this problem. Our families are just appalled at the action they took or should I say didn't take. My folks sure did not raise me this way, nor I my children!

May they go with God's speed, just speed away from us!

Can you believe this one? We "invested" $15,000.00 with him, there was $14,000.00 in the account when she transferred it to another account. She could have given us $10,000.00 back on that Friday when we asked, but she did not! The bank knowing this and knowing it was OUR money, helped themselves to paying off a $9,000+ plus loan this couple had taken out for their store which opened the middle of September. One day we will be able to look this NUT of a Mother in the eye and tell her straight. My husband nor I like any kind of negative confrontations, but this one we will be glad to have and let her know just how low down and dirty and immoral her daughter really is!!! Now this couple are bible thumping christians, they say! They do however, have two of the most disfuntional grown children we've ever witnessed! (and we've thought some of our 4 was a bit off the wall at times, hey they are normal)
The older brother(now 42) married this young woman a few years ago with the most precious 6 yr old daughter, beautiful child with long dark hair. The Step Dad gets mad at the child and instead of some kind of reasonable discipline, he cut off all the child's hair! We were told her hair looked like a fork had been run through it and he had used a knife! This is horrid! Soon after the child went to another state to live with her Dad. We now know why she left their house so fast. Hopefully her teacher intervenned and got her away from this monster! We just learned of this horrible act within the past two weeks.
The girl is 15 yrs. old, back with them now, as of this past summer. When the Step Dad gets angry with her now, he makes her work in the shop with him. Go figure! This house needs checking out by child protective authorities. Together they have 3 younger daughters.
We are ashamed for this family for they don't have enough common sense to be ashamed for themselves. Plus ashamed that we even know someone who conducts their life in this manner.
And I doubt the Dad (our ex-lifetime friend) even knows of this horrible act committed by his son. How sad!

How awful...I wonder why she is back with them? Course 15 is the magical age of rebellion for little girls, maybe she's rebelling against her dad and did so by going back to mom's house. Course it wouldn't be the first time a teen made a stupid decision outta rebellion. Roll Eyes
