I seem to have a memory for things like my first date with a boyfriend. In this case yesterady was the 13th anniversary of my first date with my husband. It was a lovely evening with snow falling. We went to a Christmas concert and he walked me home in the gently falling snow.

My hubby and I celebrate our first date more than we celebrate our actual wedding anniversary.

I think probably in general women DO remember these things better than men, but hubby and I are reversed. He's the one who remembers, I'm the forgetful one. I can't remember numbers, whether it's dates of events, phone numbers, whatever. Also time seems to not mean much to me LOL. I often have no idea what day I'm in unless I look at the calendar. Grin

My husband and I never remember our anniversary. He has a coworker that reminds us each year, and he only remembers because some special football game fell on it the year we married, and he remembers the football game. :rofl:

And yeppers - I would tend to agree women are more aware of dates, than men. Wink

It goes without even asking that we women remember dates a lot better than men. However, we do remember our first date in January, 1958, our second June 3, 1983 and of course our wedding, June 30, 1984. Tongue
