One year ago this morning, we lost the crew in the Challenger explosion.  It's seems like it happened only moments ago when IL was the first to report this.

It appears that the space shuttle Columbia has been lost in the sky over Texas this morning.  Breaking news on TV now.

I remember hearing the news, and exactly where I was. I was at temple when my rabbi told the congregation, while I was on stage. That night I think, was the saddest I've ever seen anybody at my temple.

Yesterday, I too very much remembered the accident.  The explosion shook my house, and rattled my windows.   I am so sorry for the families of the astronauts.  For their friends, and for the people on the ground who witnessed the "fallout".  But, thank goodness for the people who are now having tributes, so that those left behind can know how much their loved one's are remembered.
