late night musings

okay, well, i am not drunk but i was tipsy earlier this evening and i wanted to share my evening with all of you.
 
i just got home from an amazing concert and wanted to share.  unfortunately, the alcohol has worn off a bit.  i went to the 10th annual rock for choice (pro choice) concert at the east vancouver cultural centre (which walking distance of my humble abode and a great spot for music, great sound, nice sized space, not too big, not too small) where i saw several artists including Sarah Harmer, Rae Spoon (amazing blue grass/country western artist had me dancing to a song called oilrigger (blew.my.mind.good) and i no like country), Sandy Scofield (first nations cree, fantastic voice and incredible scope), Joel Tong and a special guest...this is the part where fellow canucks will understand.....bif naked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  she sang three songs with two acoustic guitarists...including 'lucky'!  well, i absolutely love bif's music and this was the best.

Sounds like you had a really great time.  Cheesy  I can't remember the last time I got out to see a live band play, it's been ages... How fun to have a special surprise guest arrive and then have it be someone  you really enjoy!

thanks ladies...
 
the only bad part is that i just found out frosty did his little howling thing while i was gone last night.  (note: this is why i cannot go out more often right now (and homework))  with only being able to be away form the geriatric diabetic poodle for short periods of time, my social life has not been what it could be.  
 
i am the caregiver of a geriatric....... Wink
