Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

Someone just told me about this new product and she was RAVING about it.  Has anyone tried it and what do you think?  I'm definitely gonna get one.

Ground-in dirt and grime got you down? You already know it can be difficult, if not impossible, to clean. You try elbow grease or specialty cleaners, but set-in dirt and grime, tough scuff marks and crayon marks just stay around on surfaces—simply ignored until you have the time to scrub for what seems like days, or even worse, you repaint!
Not anymore. The new Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is an innovative cleaning material that gets into grooves where dirt and grime get trapped. It easily and thoroughly breaks up tough dirt, lifting it away from surfaces. And, it does all this with just water alone. It is simple and easy to use—no fumes, gloves, buckets or chemicals required.

You can use it all over the house—from the set-in dirt in the kitchen to the bathroom soap scum—on floors, walls, doors, appliances, sinks, tubs and more; you can even use it outside the house on patio furniture, car interiors, car wheels and much, much more.

:shame2:  I bought a box of them a couple of months ago but have yet to use them.  My bad....  I have a feeling they are going to be a keeper.

Wingsy, I'll let you know what I think over the weekend at some point.  Plan to buy one tomorrow and tackle the tub and shower among other things.   Unless you wanna come over here and do it for me.     :punch:

Thanks for the info, I"ll check it out.  Clorox Cleanup is very good for bathrooms, sinks, etc.  We had to have something strong for the rent house and this one did the job.   Cool Cool Cool

They've been advertised on TV for quite a while, but I've never run across them at the store.   I'll try them if and when they're available.  I was wondering if they were good.

Oh my goodness!  This product is GREAT!!
I ran around the house testing it on everything!
It leaves tile in the bathroom grung free by just lightly rubbing....
Took red permanent lipstick off of white painted walls ( don't ask)...
coffee stains off my white countertop, that bleach didn't.....
marks on the white walls from my husband made by moving a big TV out of the livingroom down a loooong hallway, you know those black scuff marks...gone!
My friend couldn't say enough good stuff about it.
Got it at WalMart --2 for under $2

I Just bought them too (on the weekend). They look like sponges (not pens).

They DO sell them in Canada.  I bought mine at Dominion but likely cheaper at Walmart.

and I did exactly what rcs mum.  Only I went crazy in my bathroom shower with soap scum residue and cleaning the grouting.

I have this mental picture of all forumites cleaning their houses this week LOL

Thank you for telling me about this product.  My husband thanks you and my cleaning lady thanks you.

OK, someone tell me how to get a pen mark off the leather in the car without ruining the leather.  I was at the drive through at the bank and of course accidentally marked the armrest with my pen.  I'm afraid to use anything for fear it will spot the leather.  Help! Roll Eyes

I haven't tried this yet, not sure I have even seen it in my store. I thought it was a pen like device filled with ordinary bleach.  I made my own magic eraser that I took on trips with me that consisted of a small screw top jar, and a few q-tips. If I got a stain that needed removal right away I would dab the spot with the bleach, of course this only worked on white things... Is this new thing color safe? Is it just for walls and grout and surfaces and not only artictles of clothing?

ok now I get it, it is that white square thing. Looked like a gimick to me. But it works? I have a few scuff marks on walls that could use a buffing...I might give it a try...Maybe... not sure... if it is expensive I won't try it at all.
