Call me suspicious, but something about this kidnapping seems fishy.
 
 
Amber Alert Issued for 5 Month Old Oregon Boy
Posted: Friday 03/19/04 1:20 PM CST
 
The Jackson County Sheriff's office and the Oregon State Police issued the Amber Alert after the boy was abducted from his baby sitter in Shady Grove on Friday morning.  
 
Anthony M. Pintarelli, 5 months, 21 lbs., and has dark hair and blue eyes. He was reportedly taken from a home in Shady Cove, Oregon.  
 
He was last seen wearing a Snoopy t-shirt with a blue blanket wrapped around him.  
 
Police are looking for Ashley Ann Garabrant 20 yrs. The woman was recently released from a mental institution and the child is believed to be in extreme danger.  
 
Police believe they may be headed toward Yuba City, California in a 1994 champagne-colored Nissan Maxima with California plate number 4FB J950.  
 
Anyone with information is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff\'s department at 541-776-7338 or dial 911.

Surely he means it's bad that his mom abducted him.   Hmm, or maybe he means it's bad that they took him from his mom....I guess there could be many meanings.   Being a mom,  I think I would abduct my kids from someone too.  I guess I need more info. Huh

From what I gathered, the child's 20-yo mom had been recently released from a mental institution.  The baby was being attended by a babysitter at the time of the abduction.
 
In the notice put out by AA, the baby's life could have been in danger.

Amber Alert Issued for 2 Week Old Florida Girl

The Polk County Sheriff's office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the Amber Alert after the baby went missing from the 1300 block of Sumner Street in Auburndale, Florida on Wednesday.  
 
Desiree Reyome, a white female, 2 weeks old, 6 lbs. 13 oz., 20 inches long, strawberry blonde hair.  
 

 
The child was last seen at the 1300 block of Sumner Street in Auburndale, Florida and is believed to be in danger.  
 
The Polk County Sheriff's office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are looking for Lisa Nicole Steverson, a white female, 18 yrs., 150 lbs, 5' 3", brown hair, brown eyes.  
 
Raymond Eugene Reyome, a white male, 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 175 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes may be with the mother and child.  
 
They may be traveling in a 1984 silver Toyota corolla, 4 door, FL tag G60 NPM.  
 
Anyone with information is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff\'s office at 863-533-0344 or 911.  
 
Prayers and blessings that this baby be found unharmed quickly!

It really scares me to know sickos like that roam the world. Not for my welfare but for harmless kids who cant protect themselves. And recently released from the mental hospital like what was posted above gives me the shivers... I dont know why.
