I dont either, in fact I respect him for his talent and music. Yeah, all these accusations are kinda disturbing, and yes, he is way eccentric but to me, its  innocent til proven guilty. At some point, I think people just take advantage of rumors or his stature...

And while none of us has the facts and isn't a part of his court trial, etc. so this is purely personal opinion on both sides...

My opinion is that he's a pedafile and I hope they hang him.

Just my :twocents: , but:

I have no respect for him, nor his talent.  I believe he received his talents from a Higher Source (as we all do) -that's Who I respect.

Growing up, I heard so-called rumours that the Holocaust never happened; President Clinton said he never had a "relationship" with Monica Loosebuttsky.  Someday, 9/11 will be called a "joke" and highly exaggerated.  And then there are/were the "stars" who are so absurdly and wrongly accused of whatever - such as poor Michael Jackson.

G.I.V.E...M.E...A...B.R.E.A.K! is all I can say, because ForumsNet isn't set up for me to say what I really think.

As far as his musical talents, he is a musical genius and has invented sounds that had never been recorded before in the music industry.

Courts are for evidence and seeking out the truth.  It is "MY OPINION" that he is severly disturbed, for whatever reason and has been in need of psychological help for a long time.

I would like to think this is not true and would all just go away and he could get back on track with his musical abilities.  However, this manchild is just not doing normal things for a male of his age.  True, he didn't get to be a "kid", but his weird behavior is just too much abnormal.

And those children should be taken out of his control immediately and would be if he were an "average Joe" and not a celebrity!

Hate him?  No, I just feel sad for the way he is and anger that his ways have involved innocent children.

As Wings stated, forumsnet will not let us post our "real" feelings."

Yes, I'd have to violate my own rules to post my full opinion of him. Wink

In the same token I understand there are people who do feel he is innocent and like him very much and that's fine, we're each entitled to our differing opinions. I know I don't have all the facts, I'm just going on the bits I do have and my gut instinct.

well.. for me.. i know not of Michael Jackson except for being the pop icon of the 80's who gave the world Billy Jean, Ben, and Thriller..

i would say that i hate him.. for hate is such a big word... i feel sad for what he has become.. he may have retained some of the respect that he gained in the 80's but now is the new millenium and he seemed to be still left in the 80's...  for the kids, i see him as irresponsible like that instance when he held his baby outside a window...

also i feel sad for what he made of himself from all the prostetics he's done to his face and skin... that now he can do his Thriller MTV without make-up...

Hate is a strong word, but I feel that strongly about child molesters.  Grin

I can't say hate either, mostly pity.  I saw an episode of Law and Order yesterday that was aimed indirectly at him involving a "toy store owner" as a suspected pedifile(sp)...
In the end, Michael Jackson ain't going to affect my life in rinky-dink Tennessee, but I will be interested in how the trial goes (if there is a trial).   There seems to be a stipulation that money buys good lawyers which equates to freedom.  Who knows?
In the end, I can't hate him.  I would still invite him over for fried chicken and mashed potatoes.... along with anyone else.

The boy who is accusing MJ is around your age, avsfanbuck.  Your feelings about MJ might change IF the prosecution is able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that MJ is guilty of the accusations against him.

My opinion:  I used to really like MJ a lot--especially during his "Thriller" days and the years preceding that album.  I believe that he is deeply disturbed and has issues in his life that have given rise to his bizzare behavior and his curious need to continually and drastically change his appearance via surgery.

If MJ is guilty, I agree with MzWings assessment of what his punishment should be.  That should happen to all pedophiles, in my opinion.

Funny you mention "innocent until proven guilty" when in other threads you were ready to judge without half the knowledge we now know about Mr. Jackson. Besides your question has nothing to do with his music or lastest album!

Avs, I have to disagree with you on his innocence.  Based on the fact that there has been more than one accuser.  Even his maid quit after he made advances to her son!

He is not responsible enough to have children under his control at all.
All the work he's had done to his face to change himself is enough proof that something is desperately gone awry in his head!  I liked him better when he was a little black boy and showing us his musical talents.
I miss that Michael.  Cry
I predict he will come to a sad ending, too sad to even  Lips Sealed   Such a waste of his life, he is pitiful.

In alot of countries you are guilty until proven innocent.  Sadly enough, that is the case here.
