I'm Movin' to "Easy Street" now!

I knew it!  I knew it!!  I just KNEW my ship would finally come it!  I'm going to be RICH!!  RICH, I tell ya'!

As luck would have it, take a look at these two letters that JUST arrived in my email!   I'm SO VERY FORTUNATE!  I'm going to be up there with Bill Gates, and Oprah in the wealth department!!

And don't you think for one minute that I'm not going to share my good fortune with all my Forums buddies!  I plan on spreading my wealth around!  I can see it now, it's gonna' be like Christmas!  Ol' Bumper Santa is gonna' take care of everyone.  I'm gonna' buy Wingsy a new bird and a gold plated snow shovel for all that Canadian snow, get addams that GPS thingy for her new car, buy new bumpers for Chickmama's Caddy that the dogs chewed off, get Libertybelle a nice little sailboat, buy Reset some new fancy electronic computer gizmos, gonna send Luci on a long cruise, get Irishlass a semi-new restored Desota, get David and his wife a gift certificate for a romantic getaway vacation, and get tickets for Jetgirl and BlankWillWin to the Democratic National Convention!!  Now my only quandry is what to get our fearless leader Rhune?!  Hmmmm, maybe you guys can help me out there.  I was thinking about a big new Plasma TV for her so she wouldn't have to share TV time with the hubby.  Grin  If I've left anybody out, don't worry, there should be MORE than enough dough for me to spread around!  Cheesy

Anyway, here is the letter that came in my email today:

From wang qin,
email address:[email protected]
Good Day,
Let me start by introducing myself. I am Mr. Wang Qin
credit officer of the Hang Seng Bank Ltd. I have a
concealed business suggestion for you.
Before the U.S and Iraqi war our client General. Ibrahim
Moussa who was with the Iraqi forces and also business man
made a numbered fixed deposit for 18 calendar months, with
a value of Twenty millions Five Hundred Thousand United
State Dollars only in my branch. Upon maturity several
notice was sent to him, even during the war early this
year. Again after the war another notification was sent
and still no response came from him. We later find out that
the General and his family had been killed during the war
in bomb blast that hit their home.
After further investigation it was also discovered that
Gen. Ibrahim Moussa did not declare any next of kin in his
official papers including the paper work of his bank
deposit. And he also confided in me the last time he was at
my office that no one except me knew of his deposit in my
bank. So, Twenty millions Five Hundred Thousand United
State Dollars is still lying in my bank and no one will
ever come forward to claim it. What bothers me most is that
according to the to the laws of my country at the
expiration 3 years the funds will revert to the ownership
of the Hong Kong Government if nobody applies to claim the
funds. Against this backdrop, my suggestion to you is that
I will like you as a foreigner to stand as the next of kin
to Gen. Ibrahim Moussa so that you will be able to receive
his funds.
WHAT IS TO BE DONE:
I want you to know that I have had everything planned out
so that we shall come out successful. I have contacted an
attorney that will prepare the necessary document that will
back you up as the next of kin to Gen. Ibrahim Moussa, all
that is required from you at this stage is for you to
provide me with your Full Names and Address so that the
attorney can commence his job. After you have been made the
next of kin, the attorney will also fill in for claims on
your behalf and secure the necessary approval and letter of
probate in your favor for the move of the funds to an
account that will be provided by you.
There is no risk involved at all in the matter as we are
going adopt a legalized method and the attorney will
prepare all the necessary documents. Please endeavor to
observe utmost discretion in all matters concerning this
issue.
Once the funds have been transferred to your nominated bank
account we shall share in the ratio of 70% for me, 25% for
you and 5% for any expenses incurred during the course of
this operation. Should you be interested please send me
your full names and current residential address.

Your earliest response to this letter will be
appreciated.and i will prefers you to reach me on this
email :[email protected]
Kind Regards
Mr. Wang Qin

. . . . and this is the other email:

I would like to begin by way of introduction;
My name is Dr BANDA GAMA, a native of South Africa. I am a senior
Director of The South Africa Department of Ariculture.

I am writing this letter to solicit your co-operation in order to
redeem an Over invoiced Contract payment in the name of one of our late
contractors wich is currently held under trust by The Apex Bank here in
South Africa.

The said Payment amounts to $9.5 Million United States Dollars (Nine
Million Five hundred thousand American dollars). The payment was
originally to be made to  one Mr. Abraham Cole the late contractor who
died in 1998 and since then we have not found anyone to stand in and claim
this payment on his behalf.

My partner, who is the Account Director in the same Department of Agriculture
and I,have initiated the process of filing a claim for this money
with the hope of having the funds transferred to you. In order to do
this,we will swear an affidavit in the High Court of my
country stating that you are a distant cousin and next of kin to Mr.
Abraham Cole the owner of the money and giving you the legal authority to
administer his estate. After which, you will file a claim for this money from
the Department of Agriculture, indicating that you are the adminstrator of the
deceased contractors Estate and the the beneficiary of these funds. When the claim
is approved you will be directed to the Bank where the fund is held on trust
and you will be paid paid the sum of USD $9.5M.

The money will be paid directly to any bank of your choice ;
you will have the responsibility to ensure that my partner and I
receive 70% of the money while you keep the remaining 25% for your
assistance. The remaining 5% will be for incidental
expenses.

I want to assure you that my partner and I are in a position to make
the payment of this claim possible provided that you can
give us very strong guarantee that our share will be secured, and that
you will not take advantage of our position.

Be assured that there is absolutely nothing to worry about in the view
of this claim. It is perfectly safe with no risks involved,
and it is not subject to any inquiry, since my partner and I will be
handling the claim directly in South Africa on your behalf.
I do hope my proposal is acceptable to you. Please acknowledge the
receipt of this letter, so that I can provide you with more
clarification about the claim and how we intend to make this deal
beneficial to everyone involved.

yours Sincerely

Dr. BANDA GAMA
[email protected]

. . . . . so you see dear friends, it is ONLY A MATTER OF TIME before the money starts rolling in.  I'm going to rush and send these fine folks my bank account numbers so they can deposit my new wealth in my account!!  I mean, they wouldn't try to rip me off, would they??  They sound SO legit!  WHAT could go wrong??

. . . Say, you don't think just because these letters arrived on April 1st means anything . . . . . do you??   Roll Eyes

But of course not!  It's your special gift because you held up so well during these last 16 years since your 40th birthday.

Thanks so much for the new bird - a scarlet macaw, please.

But I couldn't accept it unless you agree to take the big guy for your own after I'm gone.  These big boys easily live 70+ years.  Awwwww, that's so nice of you.

For Rhune, I think a one month vacation would be wonderful.  The first week off, alone, on the French Riviera would be apropos.  Gosh, she works so hard.  Then the following two weeks, she and hubby could vacation wherever their choice might be.

The last week could be reserved for the whole family to vacationate together.  And of course you and dear wife would want to join them for maybe two days.

What do you think?  But what ever you do - have the bestest birthday ever!

Gee Bump, thanks for thinking of me!  You do read my posts, as I've said the cruises never last long enough!

Take it from one who knows, don't give anyone your bank account number.
As most of you know, we made an investment last fall and it has been heck ever since.  Today we went to court and I am going to get off here now and go make a deposit to our savings account to put 2/3 of the money back.  The balance is secured and we will also get it.

As the saying goes, if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is! Roll Eyes  ....but we do have a lot for sale in Okladamedhoma! Grin

Bump, don't do it!

oww.. bumper.. that was a VERY GOOD offer... would there be something left for me?.. hehe...

but i would recommend that you don't adhere to those mails... they may be pranks or if not... you may be helping illegal works of insane people... you may be giving the 70% values to terrorist networks that may have assasinated those 'money owners'.. or some mafia involved into drug-trafficking, money laundering, or smuggling...

but if you still persist to take those deals... i would suggest opening a new account to where the 25% values should flow in... cause.. you'll never know.. they might even take money from you...  Grin
