Amber Alert Issued for 5 Year Old Nevada Boy

The Las Vegas Police Department issued the Amber Alert after it was determined that the boy was in the company of his father who is a suspect in the murder of the child's mother.  
 
Donovan Bingaman, a white male, 5 yrs., 4', 70 lbs. blonde hair and blue eyes. Donovan was last seen wearing a blue matching shorts and shirt set and sandals.  
 
He is with his father, Craig Bingaman who is wanted in connection with the murder of his wife, Donavan's mother. They are believed to be in the Las Vegas area.  
 
Craig Bingaman is a white male, 6' 1", 185 lbs. Police said he has several missing teeth and a shaved head. He also has a tattoo of a boy wearing baggy pants on his lower left arm.  
 
Police are worried about the boy's safety because his father is wanted by police and is a murder suspect.  
 
Anyone with information is asked to call the Las Vegas PD at 702-229-2907 or dial 911.

 Shocked Shocked  That is an enormous 5 year old...my son is a big for his age at 5 year old - in the 95th percentile for his age and he's 3 foot 9 inches feet tall and is 48 pounds.
 
...I really have to question this age/weight/height list...

Ok, looking at a growth chart...70 pounds is 50th percentile (average) for a 10 year old, and 4 feet is average for a 7 year old... Shocked

He looks older than 5 too.  I hope he's returned sooner than soon.  This sounds like a horrendous situation.

Yes, I hope he comes home safely.  I was just thinking with that kind of weight there was probably a lot of neglect going on in that household as well, since he can't have been eating very nutritiously.

And in the end some little shred of sense or care for the boy must have prevailed....
 
Amber Alert Canceled for 5 Year Old Nevada Boy

The Las Vegas Police Department canceled the Amber Alert after the suspect turned himself into police and the child was recovered safe. No further information is available at this time.
