Note - I didn't say BRRRRR - April does have an R in though.
 
SO?  It's snowing and snowing and snowing this morning.  Further, it's sticking too.  It's not a heavy snowstorm......it's just.......well.........there.  I didn't want this anymore this season.
 
It also means some of you south of here will probably be getting some of this "stuff".  Sorry!  I'm just a poopyhead this morning because 99% of this season's snow had melted.  Sad
 
And I just endured William Hung singing "She Bangs" on The Today Show.  Well, things can go UP from here.  RIGHT?

I believe it is you only eat oysters in the months with an "R".
Wings, so sorry you're getting snow, for we'll get it in the form of rain by Saturday or Sunday and it is supposed to be in the 50's, Brrrrr.........the Easter Spell, as the old folks used to say, or do they still say it?

why can't you eat seafood on an 'R' month?...  Huh At least here you can eat seafood 24/7..365 days a year... hehehe  Grin  we're surrounded by the seas and seafood is very much abundant.... yum yum.. hehehe...  but.. it's getting HOT here... and it's a very great time to go the beach... Grin

The idea is that during the the months that have an 'R' (all of them except May, June, July, August: the summer months) it is safer to eat seafood (oysters) because the water temperature would be colder thus hindering the ability for bacteria that grow in water ( in oysters).  In the summer "R" months, the water temperature is warm enough for these bacteria to grow.......    
 
This is a rule of thumb, that obviously gets thrown out the window in different geographic locations....

well last week we hit 25C.....between yesterday (4cm of snow) today (10cm) and tomorrow (5cm) it appears as if we completely missed summer!!!
