Well I have dogs(got a new basset hound pup!)
fish (even have an octopus)
some birds
a reticulated python
a flying fox(fruit bat)
guinea pigs
rabbits
a chicken

my favorite have to be the puppy whose name is Sir Hoju(Homer Junior - Simpsons) and when he sleeps, we call him Puppyda.
I also love my python - Snakerz
the rest, I like but the 2 I mentioned I like most...

I used to have lots of weird pets like a horn shark, somewhat like what Richard killed; a raven; an owl; a tarsier and several others... rest in piece to them!

well.. for me, i'm not much of an animal lover but my mom is.. we had several dogs mostly mutts and tetra fish in a pond...

we used to have 10 adult rabbits that we used to breed and sell.. I feed and clean their pens.. and I managed them by moving them in different cages.. one cage is for mating and another for nursery... I used to take care of their baby rabbits right after birth to 1 month when they are ready for selling... Grin

We have 3 cats. 2 of the cats are older and we've had for years, and then we have the new kitty that the boys just got for easter. He's a flame point siamese (sort of a peachy off-white with apricot points), just under a year old. He seems to be a very nice and mellow kitty so far, but he's still adjusting to his new surroundings.

I had a rabbit named Bernie, he just died this past Christmas, I had him since i was almost 14, almost 10 years... Sad

Cute cat... we never had a cat before... how different is it to take care compared to a dog? We dont have much cats here in the Philippines except stray ones or whatever their breed is. Cooler breeds are rare... most people here are dog lovers...

And pau_p1, cool that you bred rabbits... we just have 2 now for a start, and we dont know how to breed them so we just let them go free on their big cage. Our hamster used to breed, but a majority of the babies ends up being eaten by the mother!

Yeah its hard, I cried one too many times on the loss of most of them... But sometimes when its their time to go, I dont really grieve for I'm happy that they lived a good life.. 3 months ago, my favorite dog, a dachshund named "Clean" died from battle scars and old age... I had him since even before I dated my first gf... and its hard to see him go, but I wasnt that sad... I even dug his grave in our backyard which gave me tons of muscle and back pains for a week!

sweet.. try checking if they are of different sexes... then at about 2-3months they ready to mate... put them in one cage and let them mate.. monitor your female... if you see that she seems to have a bigger tummy.. seperate her from the male... soon she will deliver bunnies.. average of 9.. separate her because the male may still try to mate with her even while delivery... and the male might eat the bunnies... she will start to deliver if she starts to shed some fur which she will use for her nest to warm up her bunnies.. Grin

rhune.. Jer was a very pretty cat..and azure.. nice dogs.... Grin

i remember my mom's cat when I was still a kid.. we loved Tiger and my mom's dog Gemini... both are close that when Tiger had kittens and Gemini had puppies... Gemini let Tiger's kittens milk on her... we even have a picture of it.... Grin
