I have a neice today

My baby sister had a baby this morning. A little girl. It is her first child and it is my first neice. I have two nephews (my other sister's boys).
 
Baby was born at 1:30 AM and she is 5 lbs something or other. I don't have all the details because no one has bothered to call me to tell me my sister had a baby today. I found this information out from the nurse at my dad's hospital.  
 
Dad is through his surgery and in the ICU recovery room. My mom is ready to have a nervous breakdown apparently and they sent her to have some lunch.  
 
no one has called me but I guess there's a lot happening there.

Don't spoil her too hard... I just got my first niece recently and she broke my heart... (unfortunately, she looks like my dad when he was her age:  poor kid)

I'm tickled your dad had the surgery and you're all past that.  It's sound by your post all went well!  Blessed thanks for that.
 
Your poor mom!  Is she alone at the hospital?  OTOH, she'd probably still be a nervous wreck whether anyone was with her or not.  I know I would be.
 
Thanks for the update and hope you can keep us up to snuff.  We're still offering up prayers for all of you.  You sound a little upset so I'm sending you...

I saw the little doll on Saturday.    She is a gem.   A little peanut really as she only weighed 5 lbs on Saturday when I saw her.  
 
I took my sister all my teenie tiny baby clothes from when my daughter was born plus all the pink things and the dresses for little baby girls.
 
Everyone is doing very well.
