A few questions?

1. when one makes a big mistake in a post like i did in an earlier survivor chatter post is there anyway to go back and edit it to clean it up?..it really looks bad and my intentions were not for it to look that way at all.

2. Is there a certain time that I should not look at this board tomorrow in order for the survivor episode not to be given away before I get a chance to watch it. I am out west so many folks get to see it before me...also, if I stay out of the spoiler section am I safe or is it just better to stay away in general?

3. I dont see a help area where I can learn little tips and tricks about this site...ie: how is it that you guys can get 'quotes ' in that rectangular box when you want to refer to something particular another poster has said?

Thanks for your help, and sorry to be a pain...

if you would like to modify any posts that you made, you can go back on that post and click on the Modify link at the upper right corner of your post...

i think to keep the suspense, just keep yourself away from that forum until you have seen the episode... i myself (for the Amazing Race last year) is from Asia and I see the show later than the people on North America... messages are posted in real time and i don't know if it can be suppressed to align with your own time zone...

you can do quotes by clicking on the Quote link of the message you want to quote...  or you can insert your message between {quote}  and {/quote} (change {} with [])...
also there was a thread before which discusses the hows in this board like how to make bold, italic letters or moving letters... i'll try to search that thread or Ms. Rhune can help us with that...

1. Click on modify and you can alter any post you make

2. Well that can be debatable nothing regarding outcome of any show is to be posted in any thread other than spoiler thread until show airs in all time zones. Sadly not everyone remembers that or they sometimes name their posts "Colby's Gone" which of course shows up at bottom of main forums page. We have addressed that issue recently and it is everyones hope that posters will NOT post show results in threads other than spoilers and not put outcome in thread titles until show is aired in all time zones. It would be unfair to force people who live in other time zones but telling them they cant enjoy site for several hours because they live in western time zones. Regardless it might be wise to stay out of Reality show threads and enjoy other threads while show is being aired elsewhere

3.You can PM any longtime member and ask for help there is also a "Test" thread where you can try new things out.

Thanks again for the advice...I did just saw the thread where this exact thing was discussed...as far as I can tell its just too controversial to count on anything... No worries, Ill just stay away and get some work done around here instead!

Thanks for the heads up
