MomNMaui - UPDATE 12-02-2004

After many months of seeing different doctors and having many tests, she is to have a surgical lung biopsy  on May 12 in Honolulu.
 
If all goes well, the doctor will be in and out, and she can go home in a few days.   If the  biopsy is positive, he will do what is needed at that time.  Plus whatever followup is needed for her recovery.
 
I'm sure those of you who remember her want to know of this ordeal she is facing and send prayers for her to have a speedy recovery.

It's been almost exactly 3 years since I met MomnMaui.  I am sorry to hear this news.
 
I am saying a prayer for her.  If you are talking to her please tell her we are praying for her and I love her so much.  She's one of my first chat room friends ever on the internet.

I have the 800 number of the hospital where she will be staying and will be checking up on her as well.
 
I definitely will tell her you all send prayers and get well wishes.

I remember her making something for someone's wedding.  I just picture her in her shop there in beautiful Hawaii with wonderful weather.  Hi mom!

She owns an engraving shop, just off the main street oof Lahaina.  
 
After surviving cancer, her husband opened this shop.  They sold most of their belongings and retired to Maui.  They were in business 3 months and he died suddenly of a heart attack.  Mom was at the mall and only got there in time to see the ambulance in front of the store.
 
She knew nothing about engraving, but soon learned.  She has a good business, does  very good work.
 
She'll get through this, she's a fighter Cool

Shocked MomNMaui  brings me back 3 years ago also. Wow.  
I have wondered sometimes what has happened to her...since the only place I have had contacts with her is in a chatroom (that we will not mention here Smiley ) and I havent heard of/from her in ages.
 
She is a sweet and caring lady. I wish her the best. Tongue

Today is the day for her surgery.  It is to be about 8 A.M. Hawaii time, which is a 5 hour difference than Texas.
 
Can we all stop and say a prayer for her today?
She is very concerned about herself and the outcome.
So are we! :angel:
