Well, this Friday will be my last day in my current job. Next week I start a new career in Commercial Real Estate. Unfortuneately, I will have less time to spend with you all as I will have to devote more time to work  :barf:
 
I will try to check in from time to time though to spread the "Zen according to Boradamer" and keep you all on your toes though.  Wink

I think it will be a positive career change. I like being my own boss (tired of wife having that role, hehe) and the money potential is very nice.
 
Add to that flexible hours allow me to be around my children more as they grow up (very important to me) and with my wife working there I will get to see her more.
 
Very hard to give up a nice secure job (State Farm Insurance) to change to a commission based job though. No benefits, no retirement savings plan, etc.
 
Then again, if we do not challenge ourselves in life have we truly lived?

I also wish you the best, Borad. You've been a delightful presence on this board to say the very least.  Sounds like you've got your priorities in the right place but I still hope you'll be able to sneak back to the board from time to time to keep us entertained!  I'm like David:  already going through withdrawl symptoms!!!
