Wish me luck

Changes are happening at my work and my Boss is leaving. I was told instead of a manger for our department they will hire a Supervisor which pays less! So of course present Manager turned it down and will be leaving shortly. I email District Manager (who I have constant contact with) requesting I be considered for this NEW position. I detailed my strong points and minimized weak ones. So wish me luck!

I already have the respect and admiration of entire store even if they hire someone outside with more expierence is hired I will still play a vital role as I do now and I have made it clear I want to advance. So in many ways this is a win/win

It may take some time I am unsure if they have a time frame on this issue or not. When our old Manager left we went without a manager for sometime before presnt one was brought on and only one day a week at that. I pretty much ran Office and I made sure District Manager was aware of in my email I sent him today
