...what is that phrase below your avatar supposed to mean?  It always cracks me up when I see it in conjunction with that LOTR character.

I am a huge Douglas Adams fan (Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy). The quote is from the book. Zaphod Beeblebrox was talking to someone about what is needed for traveling around the universe. The towel is a most diverse instrument and can be used in many was so if one was to travel through space you should never forget your towel.
 
I loved the Elrond pic and thought it would have been humorous if he had said that to the fellowship before they left.   Grin

Well, I've always thought that combination of the pensive Elrond and that quote were hilarious together.  Thanks for explaining that.
