Luci,  I wanted to thank you for that great phone call.  I could have talked all day to you.

Sorry I never had a chance to call back again that day and I knew  you were leaving the next day for your trip.

Hope you are having a wonderful time and can't wait to hear all about it when you return.

Addams, don't worry about not calling me back, for I knew you would be very busy.  We did go out to eat and I worried that you might have tried to call while we were gone.
I did try to call you and never got them to understand your last name, and so on and so on, with the hotel operator and the desk clerk Roll Eyes  Anyway, I tried to leave a message.

I'm so sad that I didn't get to meet you and hope you will return soon.  Thursday night would have worked, but I'm sure your dinner at the Belo Mansion was a wonderful experience.

We got out on the flight just fine.  Did ya'll know it is only a one hour and fifty eight minutes to Cabo San Lucas from the DFW Airport?  We were there fast!

Anyway, our hotel was right on the Marina, where a lot is going on, also downtown and the mall!  The most beautiful fishing boats (yachts) you will ever see.  They were having a fishing tournament and it was fun to sit on our balcony and watch the boats go out and come back in for the day.  Flags were flying if they caught a fish,  specifying which kind.

Mr L got to go deep sea fishing, saw some but none bit the bait.   One boat caught a big fish and a seal was following and ate the fish before they could reel it in!

We took a water taxi around the bend to the beach where folks were hanging out, had breakfast at The Office.  Sunday night we took a Sunset Cruise, which was so beautiful and saw lots of seals, which was a pleasant surprize!  We also met Policemen from the Santa Barbara Sheriffs Dept., all were a lot of fun.

We were walking on the beach the next day and heard someone call out "hey Texas" and it was them again.  We sat with them and another Vice Squad policeman and his wife from LA, and hung out with them off and on the whole week, also learning we all were in the same hotel.  Anoter of their co-workeers came in on Tuesday with her fiancee.  What a lovely lady!  On Thursday we all drove to their hotel and had a birthday party for two of the guys!  A fun Day!

We had a busy, yet relaxing week!  A beautiful place, just don't expect a lot of foliage, for Cabo is built on practically a wasteland, with rocks, sand, not a lot of vegetation, yet plenty of palm trees!

The good thing is the TV has Cnn and nothing more except movie channels.  It is good to get away from the news of war and crime and just relax my mind.   No nursing facility calls either!  A very relaxed week!

We were home by 8 P.M. last evening and went straight across to our neighbor's home,  who was having the monthly dinner party!  Lots of scrumptious German food, and we were starving.   Needless to say we both passed out and I didn't wake up until 10:30 A.M. this morning.  We had planend to attend church, bummer, but Mr L just let me sleep!

We have pictures and purchased a camera that comes with a CD also.  If they are good, I'll try to show some of the sights around the area.

For any of you interested in whale watching, they come to this area from December to April.  We "hope" to return.
