What are your favorite things to look at and bid on at EBAY?

I occasionally look at Survivor stuff but what I collect is this:

My computer room is his gallery.   What can I say?  He's my hobby.  And you can bet anytime he is playing, my rear end is in front of the TV.   Grin

Comics mostly. I have about 3000 comics and I constantly check on prices and sell odds and ends off when I want to trim my collection. Ebay is great for helping me fill open slots in my collection.

I love Ebay though. I have bought cameras, antique faucets for my bathroom, computer hardware, etc. If you know how to use it you can often find great deals.

Ahhh, so THAT is why you enjoyed Unbreakable so much.    Wink

You'll remember I was one of the few who liked it as well.

Yup  Grin  I started collecting when I was in my teens and stopped years ago. Now I just spend my time whittling down my collection and filling gaps to get full series.

I think that movie hit for everyone that ever read comics. It had an Xman feel to it that people could be born with special powers in this world. It would be interesting to see a sequel with Bruce Willis' character in it but I doubt it would ever happen.

Back to the topic. If anyone ever wants to use Ebay and has not done so in the past drop me an IM. I can give you some hints on how to search for bargains and how to find good sellers/buyers.

I am not a fan of Ebay. Years ago my husband wanted to get some older camera equipment for student use in his photography class at school. He made an account on Ebay, found several cameras to purchase and bought them and all went well. We have no intention to sell anything on Ebay nor would I personally purchase anything there either. On occasion I'd fire up EBay to look for details or value on old dishes or antiques given to me by relatives. I had a pretty Spode Teacup and Ebay had good info on the cup I owned and it was fun to see the value of some of my belongings. But I kept seeing I had 10 then 12 and more and more stars or numbers after my name. Out of curiosity I clicked on my info and found I had been buying and selling stuff for over a year! I had also stiffed a few folks, sold junk and got bad feedback! I contacted Ebay and they told me my user name had been hacked, and when someone would place a bid the fake seller would give an alternate email address saying he was unable to change his address online. At that time a real buyer did manage to send me a note saying he was waiting for his shipment. Ebay got everything straightened out, I changed passwords, and they put a lock on my account so nothing can be sold unless I personally contact Ebay myself. I hope that person was arrested. So I have no plans to buy or sell anything from Ebay but on occasion I will look up the selling price of an item there.

LOL, LL, that's often my reaction.  I love to win auctions on Ebay.  I don't do it very often, but when I do, I'm fiercely competitive.  I never bid on an item unless there is less than a minute left.  I think it's silly to bid against yourself.  My past wins have been, leotards for lucy, some jeans for Kaci, a ring for myself, My want right now is a prada purse.  I keep watching them, but do not want to spend over $40.  So far, that's a laughable demand.  I will find one someday though!

I generally buy books on Ebay.  Right now i am trying for Seasons 2 and three of Angel.  I don't want to spend more than 25 dollars including shipping (this too is laughable) but i still try..
