What is your favorite TV channel?

If your TV only had one channel, what would you want it to be? Guys, I know this a complete stretch for you and it would be the end of the world as we know it, but only ONE.  
 
I know I could not live with CBS and Survivor so I would have to have someone tape it for me. The only channel I can leave on all day and night and never switch is Lifetime Movie Network. Even if I have seen the movie before, I get sucked in every time. I have flipped around all day and keep coming back to it every time. Just can't beat it.

I would probably choose CBS. I don't think any of us here could live without Survivor or Amazing Race. But my favorite channel is deffinetly VH1. I love the music channels, but MTV has become to wrapped in hip hop and crappy reality shows. I love VH1's variety of music. They really do play anything. But I love VH1 for its clip shows. Best Week Ever is so hilarious, and I love their I love the 70's and 80's series. I love the 90's is coming in June!

WOW, why don't you ask a tough question!  I would have to finally have our first fight(physically) with Mr L over this one, for he would definitely choose a channel where he could watch golf, football, baseball, for sure!
 
Me?  I would go with CBS or Lifetime.  Lifetime being the number #1 choice,  for their movies are very good!

1)History channel because I am a nerd and history buff
2)TV land because the hair, kids, and life is perfect  
3)a marathon channel of Dukes of Hazzard, Andy Griffith Show, and A team

Seems like our Tv only has one channel Nick JR! Listenning to "Blues Clues" coming from front room now  :laff:
 
My fav channel hard to say we watch movies more than anything and only TV shows we watch are
 
Survivor-CBS
Amazing Race-CBS
Fear Factor-NBC
Alias-ABC
Angel-WB (now cancelled)
So I guess it would be CBs only because there are more shows we watch on that channel

Tough choice. I am a sports nut but I would have to say the History channel or the Discovery Channel.
 
If they had a useless trivia channel that would be the one for me though. I love doing trivia nights or NTN when I am at the bar. My Dad and I always do that when he is in town just to see how good we can do.

Ultimately, my choice would be to have no TV at all.  I can get most of my information off the Internet.  However, my personal favorite channels are Discovery, TLC, History, A&E, and Animal Planet.
 
Our kids would run away from home if we decided to take away Cartoon Network.  Roll Eyes

We dont approve of cartoons like Pokemon and Dragonball Z so we dont have Cartoon Network on very often

Not that I'm questioning your parenting david, but why don't you approve of pokemon. Personally I can't stand the show, but I have a little sister who loves it. Of what I've seen of it, it's not really bad. They even have a little corny moral at the end of each episode.  Wink

What a tough question!  These are the shows I actually watch...
 
Survivor (CBS)
David Lettermen (CBS)
C.S.I. (New episodes on CBS, reruns on Spike TV)
Telecasts of CART Racing (Used to be Speed Channel, but is now on Spike TV)
MXC (Spike TV)
 
 
Those are the shows that I make it a habit to watch.  When I lay out my options, I would have to go with CBS...all of my favorites are there.  But I do love CART racing so much, so it would be hard!

Yeah, I graduate in about a week on June 11, so I've been really busy with last minute projects that teachers love assigning when they realize that they forgot to incorporate a major portion of their lesson plans.  I've also been busy with band concerts, chorus concerts, and more hours at work since good ol' Cousins Subs has gotten busier in the past month.

TLC comes in a close second for me.  Yesterday I got sucked into What Not to Wear.  Been a while since I've seen one and it just so happened it was some kind of marathon. So I spent 4 straight hours with Stacy and Clinton. What I find so funny is some of the contestants go into it digging their heels in. And eventually they always cave in and are oozing a positive attitude at the end. This is one addictive show.
