I played the cello in grade school. I used to hate lugging the thing around but when winter came and all the whimpy violinists shivered in the cold I could duck behind my monstrosity and keep warm. Cheesy

We just went to the D.A.R.E. graduation today for my daughter she was cute up there on stage. such a ham for the cam... they were filming for the local cable station so she made sure she smiled at her audiance after she got her diploma. i never realized how awkward looking a whole stage full of pre pubesant teens look, they all looked like they were metamorphasing in front of your eyes...lol kabi

Boradamer - I am so grateful to learn that there is some use for a cello. They certainly are alot to lug around and we are still only playing a 1/8 size cello

sadly when I picked my daughter up from school last night she had a temperature of 103 and not coping and so she could not attend her group recital and I felt sad after all her hard work.

Still we will try for the solo recital on Sunday and then summer is officially here!

Today was my daughter's last day of Kindergarten but she had to stay home because of her fever.
