I just spoke to Lakelady on the telephone and radio grrl too!
 
Lakelady overcame her fears and went up the CN Tower AND she walked on the glass floor (seems that Radio Grrl made her do it LOL)
 
They are now over at Centre Island having taken the ferry across and they are going to call me when they want me to come down and meet them at the Ferry Docks after they return.  Cool

Wow what a totally great afternoon visit I had with Lakelady and RadioGrrl
 
Really lovely people - which is no surprise.  We walked along the waterfront and had a round of beers and a bit of Jerk Chicken sitting at a world food cafe on the lake.  Which seemed perfect for an afternoon with Lakelady.  This lake is Lake Ontario.  The lake breezes were so refreshing as the nicest day of summer so far seems to have been saved for our Lakelady's visit.
 
We shopped in Queens Quay (pronounced key not kway) shopping centre and also at some stands in the Harbourfront area.  I thought of EastendGirl - it would be a perfect place to sell her cards.  
 
Just a perfectly lovely visit and I am so happy that I was included in their trip.   Tongue

so many of you mentioned over a few beers :laff:
 
wishing you all could have been there.  we even said so and felt sad it will never likely happen.  pictures were taken and radio grrl and Lakelady have 99 percent of them on their fancy digital cameras.  I have one backup picture on my regular old fashioned camera.
