Step one: break up with a hunky doctor who basically saved your life and become thoroughly depressed!!!

Step Two: At 33 you believe your life is over and couldn't get any worse.....until bushfires on christmas day claim your home!!!!!

Step Three: Yep.....you've been cursed.

Step Four: A whole new year has begun.....you move into a new home...an empty one but a home nonetheless!!!!

Step Five: Presents from your internet international friends begin to arrive for your new home and you finally begin to think "This is what life is all about....support and friendship"

Step Six: Return to work and feel the need for a bit of a "kick up the bum" so you retain the services of a "Life Coach".

Step Seven: You meet life coach and are greeted by a 6ft 4in tall gorgeous YOUNG Italian man....whoa!!!! Yes he's single, gorgeous and a personanlity to die for. Oh life just got sooooo much better. You begin to think you can very easily handle weekly sessions with this guy.

Steo Eight: Life coach and you get along exceptionally well and he recommends you should join a gym Huh

H e claims it will help with motivation.....yea right...you at a gym Huh

? You begin to think It's probably not a bad idea>

Step Nine: Go and check out local gym. It's small and intimate and the guy who owns it seems ok. You join up and take no notice of the young, cute owner who tells you " You don't look as trhough you need to be here".....all your thinking about is getting your old bod into shape for your gorgeous life coach!

For those of you who don't know me....trust me my story will get far more interesting.....just hang in there!!!!

Ok, so the new year is starting to look pretty good and you're begining to feel great too. Your on a mission to win the heart of a certain life coach so you:

Step One: Attend the gym regularly normally bright and early in the morning before work. you know you look absolutely horrid, no make up and daggy gym clothes however whilst your sweating up a storm on the treadmill the young gym owner asks "so are you married? "

Step Two: You reply huffing and puffing "No" and concentrate on your workout wishing the owner would go away and allow you to work up to your first heart attack in peace!

Step Three: Attend regular session with life coach. He remarks on how great your looking and after you claim how much your abs are killing you due to all the crunches you do life coach says "MMM like to see those one day" oh yea, you've just about got him hooked!!!!

Step Four: At work your kinda cute boss states " Gee your looking good " and starts to ask questions about your failed romance with the doctor.....afterall he did witness the barrage of flowers, hideous gifts ( anyone here remember the god awful Black Panther Huh

?) and my absolute loathing of a pager that the doctor gave me.

Step Five : Whilst at home your boss calls you and asks you out on a date......Excuse me....this is your boss....what do you do? Of course you start a thread at a nameless site and ask all your cyber buddies what should you do Huh

? Everyone says "Go for it"

Step Six: you agree and go on said date. The following morning whilst at the gym preparing for heart attack number two...the gym owner comments on how tired your looking. You mention you went out for dinner and had quite a late night. After more questions the owner says " You went out with your boss.....you shouldn't do that things could get quite messy".... You reply quite miffed " what's it to you who I date?" I just don't want to see you get hurt" he states. Good lord you've known this man all of about 2 weeks and now he's trying to give you love life advice....geesh....the hide of him!

Step Seven: Again attend session with life coach and make mention of the fact you are dating someone and wait for a reaction........NOTHING!!!!!! Not even a hint of jealousy....bugger! However once you mention the person you're dating is your boss he like the gym guy states that it's risky thing and I should look for someone else.....closer to my age, no work rrelationship and preferably someone who has never been married before...."someone like you" I say. He just smiles and moves on!

So several weeks pass...your relationship with your boss comes to a mutal end and you remain good friends, your still intent on the life coach at one one weekly session he suggets:

Step one: A certain nightclub to go to.

Step two. States exactly what night for you to be there, what time and recommends you wear something sexy yet comfortable enough to dance salsa in!!!!

Step Three: ok so you know he hasn't exactly asked you out on a date however you think " close enough" and on said friday night you rock up to recommended nightclub with a couple of girlfriends and who should be there Huh

?? Yep it's your life coach.

step four: now this surely can't be just by chance right?
he approaches you and offers to buy you a drink, naturally you accept and wait patiently for his invitation to salsa on the dance floor. Hours pass and nothing happens!!!!! WHAT THE........?

Step five: you leave in disgust!

Step Six: You arrive at gym the following morning in quite a foul mood. Gym guys notices and asks " anything wrong?" you soon blurt out all the frustration you are feeling towards life coach and say " hey your a man, can you give me any damn idea as to what he's playing at?" " he's just playing i imagine" says gym guy..."move on you deserve better bec, your perfect man could be right under your nose".....you screw up your face and say " yea right" and you continue punishing the crosstrainer venting your anger!

Step seven: Whilst working out your mobile phone rings and as you leave it at the reception desk of gym Adam picks it up and mouths " do you want me to answer it?"
you mouth back "yes please"....next adam is bringing phone to you saying " Oh it's gary"...gary is life coach and as you take the phone you notice adam looking slightly dejected!!!! What;'s his problem...you wonder to yourself and have a bit of a chat with gary who apologises for not spending time with you the previous evening.

Step eight: you leave the gym feeling a whole lot better whilst adam looks a whole lot worse.....you begin to wonder why Huh

I guess it depends on your POV. Who's the most predatory, when you think about it? The woman who seeks love and marriage, or the man who wants to "score"? The truth is, not all women want marriage, and not all men are chasers. The lesson of this thread is ROMANCE. It's great when someone finds a significant other to fulfill their lives.
