We're open to whatever.................will you be rushed for time? We're so close to the airports that I would be selfish for someone farther away, like Chick or Crypto to pick you up. We'll be there, let us know the time and which airline, or if you will be driving.

thanks luci for the advance welcome.... as of the moment, we are still to apply for our visa... which most probably the US embassy would grant us single entries...

as of the last email from Dell Inc, we are going to hold a Technical Summit for the Inventory Module which I and my team lead is working on plus 3 more guys... so we expect that the 5 of us will attend the meeting set on Aug 9-13... on Monday we will request Dell to send out our invitation letter that we will use to apply for our B1 visa... so I may be in Texas before the 9th....

then I might request to extend my stay in the US (by taking leave) for a few days to visit my parents in L.A.... so maybe I might try to go in Dallas to meet you guys before LA and going home... Grin

but until then, the exact dates may change so I'll inform you if the trip will pursue or not... you know clients sometimes change minds.. heheheh Cheesy

like last January when I almost got that flight to Austin for a 1month stay but I wasn't able to go... but hopefully this time, i'll do... Cheesy

I was told by my boss that we can only extend upto 2days in the US... due to our project schedule.. and due to the limited time that I'd be there... I decided that I would not pass Dallas anymore.. so that I could spend those 2 extra days in LA with my Mom... Cheesy

Maybe next time when we get another chance to go back to Austin I'll schedule a trip to Dallas... Cheesy

I would really love to see a rodeo... Sad

Rice, it is not!
I would suggest after getting here to buy a bottle of Peptp Bismol, a pak of Rolaids and you could take Prevacid before eating if you know you'll be having Mexican or some our oour famous Barbeque and ribs.
I feel you probably have a more bland diet that we do and want you to be prepared and not have a tummy ache during your stay in our Great State.

anyways... I have already tried Mexican food and its nice.. since some Mexican and Filipino foods have same similarity.. probably due to barter system between Manila and Acapulco during the 16th-18th centuries during Spanish rule... so I think I'm not going to have much problem... but if its Tex-Mex... hmmm... ok I'll get myself prepared... Cheesy

I wanted you to know so you won't be surprized. Sometimes this type of food doesn't agree with people from other areas of the world. From what I've seen of what my two Philipino friends have for lunch you'll probably be just fine.
