Inspired by my lunch.... Cheesy

What is your favorite Subway sandwich?

I really don't have a fave but I most often have a Melt or Meatball.
How are the wraps by the way?  Haven't had one.

I think I'm more plain!  I love their Ham and Turkey sub...with lettuce, cucumbers, pickles, easy mayo, and banana peppers.  All complete on Honey Oat bread.

(Although I work at a *rival* sub shop, called Cousins, which is mainly in the Wisconsin area.  Although, I do know that it has branched out some.  So out of curiosity, anybody else hear of Cousins Subs?)

Ham and Turkey! I agree... Well its cuz Turkey is a bit rare here, unlike the other toppings.

Subway is expensive here! Like more or less 200 pesos for a sandwhich($3.6 - I know this aint much for US but here its a bit big), in which the same size as a BigMac which you can get at half the price... but its worth it though! and refillable drinks!

I dont go to subway for two reasons 1. Prices 2. I canmake a sandwich at home if I go out I want something that is too much trouble to make at home. How hard it is to take two slices of bread and put stuff between them lol

Subway = yummy!

I switch... cold cut trio, subway club, meatball (currently my favorite), turkey
but it all always has to be on wheat bread with lettuce, olives, pepper, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper - make sure no pickles touch anything near my sandwich (allergic)

it's all good though

We don't stop at Subway all that often as they are too expensive and we have a better sub sandwich called the Italian that is cheaper 2 doors from the Subway shop. But the few times I did get one I got the roast beef, or the BLT.  My son worked at Subway for a summer when he was in High school.

I don't eat at Subway either, but one of their local rivals here has a 6 inch low-carb (9 carbs) bread that tastes good enough that I'm tempted to just buy some of the bread and take it home, and we like to go there for lunch with the kids about once every couple weeks.

sweet, the sandwiches are pretty expensive here.  I tend to get nothing but the 12" and make two meals of it though.  For my turkey/ham the other day it was $5.09 without tax.  But for any of the others, you would pay up to about $6.50. And for 2 meals, I don't have a problem with that.

I never get more than a 6", and Mr L gets the 12"er.  I agree with David, how hard can it be to put stuff between bread?  Sometimes we want a cold dinner and opt for Subway.  I don't remember the last time we had one and it is just up the road from us.

Two nights this week we had tuna, chicken and potato salad that I made and ate for a few meals, not in a row though, that gets old quick!   I like to make several salads ahead and have it ready.  Then two nights we had cold cuts.  So hot this past week here!  In hot weather (1) I don't want to heat up the kitchen, (2) We don't like hot food in really hot weather.  If wew want a pot of beans I cook them in a crock pot early in the day so they will be ready for dinner.  Then there's the grill outside Grin guess who does the grillin'?   Roll Eyes  Not me  Grin
