I know you all have been here...

waiting for a certain movie in the next few weeks/days.
waiting for a specific date with a crush
waiting for payday
waiting for the day when you can buy something you have wanted for a long time...
waiting for a specific event like concert, wrestling, etc.

So what is your suggestion on how to pass time?

Cuz me, Im finally getting a PS2 within a week(and 1 week is too long), yet I cant wait. My parents wont buy one(saying computers are for kids, etc.), so I worked 2 months and waited long to get it.

Now that its within a week, time seems awfully slow. Slower than ever! And this is not the first time it happend! I cant sleep, butterflies in stomach, going bananas.

Yeah but during the times when I cant use the net or such... I also have WWE, Amazing Race to kill time, but on the long days...

Well I used to think "if those Survivor people can last that long, for sure I can, esp. since I aint trapped in an island"... but man its dragging!

I remember the Simpsons episode when Homer waited for a week to get a gun.

Its online blockbuster lol you rent movies pay a monthly fee ther are NO LATE FEES return movie when you wish you have have anywhere from 2-10 movies at a time depending on what fee structure you choose its great Pilar and I watch movies nearly every night and only pay 20 bucks a month we love it. I remember a line in JK Rowling's book (Harry Potter), although it's the opposite of what you're going thru.

It goes something like: "When the thing you have been dreading is coming near, time seems to move a little faster." I can't quote it exactly, but It's nearly something like that.

One of the best time-killers is work, if you love your work. If you don't have work yet, another one is sleeping. Wake up at 9 am, watch TV, eat, etc. Sleep at 1pm, wake up at 7pm, sleep, eat, etc. Post here, sleep. :laff:

Sounds like a pig, but it's just for one week.

Well I got my PS2 earlier than expected. So no biggie.

The waiting, I did by working, and even though I love my business(I dont have to cut my hair and can spend more time at home - am a certified introvert), I still cant stop thinking about what I want to buy. I just killed the time watching WWE and playing with the dogs... And yes, sleeping helps a lot!
