Just wondering cuz I have some sort of insomnia, well not really, but I let my body clock get used to sleeping late at times, and when I have work early, I sometimes decide not to sleep else I might wake up late especially if Im very tired from a busy night...

Anyways, I guess the longest I had was that I had no sleep til next day around 6-7 pm(36 hours more or less). I was so hyped when a gf at that time told me she wanna finally try "something" with me cuz she is ready... I was so excited plus the fact that I got a high grade at a test, I wasnt able to sleep... and throughout the day, I was the Energizer Bunny baby!

well... it was last October... I stayed up around 38hrs straight without closing my eyes... it was because of work... we had to stay overnight to meet our deadline.... and in that week I stayed overnight for 3 times staying up for more than 24 hrs....

Wow... And you didnt get sick? I had an acquaintance who didnt sleep for 4 days and he got fever for a week.

The longest by the way, I researched was 21 days give or take cuz of some science project. And also, soldiers mostly dont sleep around 3-4 days during war.

I've probably pushed 36 hours before..get up at 8 one morning, go to a friends house that night and stay up gabbing, then go to bed around 10 that night, how long is that? 38 hours maybe? didn't like it too much *L* but girls will gab

Last summer I was in a play and I woke up at 8 on the day of the show. Cast party til early morning, didnt sleep all day, did another show and ended up crashing at the cast party at about 2 or 3.

I have my share of being awake for more than 24 hours. One I remember was when I was about to present my thesis proposal. Woke up at 12 midnight to finish it up, went to school at the afternoon, waited my turn, called in at 8 pm I think, went home (arrived at 11pm), and I couldn't sleep, so I played on the PC until 2 am.

Another one was when I have this job. My shift is during the night, so I don't usually sleep Sunday nights. One time, I slept Sunday night, woke up at 7am, and I couldn't sleep again in the afternoon. so I went to work starting at 10 pm, until 6 am, then travel. Home by 8 am. It was hell! I wanted to sleep on my desk, I keep standing up and walk around so as not to fall asleep. When I got home, I didn't even eat breakfast (dinner? haha), just went straight to sleep.

So I don't do that mistake anymore, I always sleep whenever I could. Wink

51 hours. I was in college at the time and I don't know why it happened but I was just, up. I tried to lay down, no dice. I went to class, started to nod off, went back to dorm after class, no dice wide awake again.

I was a complete mess near the end. Have to say that was the only time I had insomnia.
