Football Time!

Roll Eyes  Does your guy watch football?  I mean every game throughout the fall to the Superbowl that is on?  I love football and love goign to our Alma Mater games and sometime to the Dallas Cowboys, but EVERY Monday night?
This messes up me watching some good shows and I must go to the bedroom to watch them, unless the Cowboys Grin are playing, then I stay!

The good thing is after or by the halftime he will nod off to sleep, then I creep in and turn it to something else Grin

Any other of you ladies do this also?   Cool

Shocked Luci!

Never change the channel from FOOTBALL!  I can't help it, I am a diehard sports fan. Anyone else watch Denver and Washington in the "Hall of Fame" game last night? Best preseason game that I've seen in years!

LOL.....my husband is all excited on a Sunday or Monday night if the Cowboys are playing.   He never lasts long tho....he either falls asleep or finds something to do outside.  If I change it, he's bound to come in and ask how the game is going.   It's just easier to go to another TV, if I'm not interested in the game myself.  Believe it or not, sometimes I am.

Hehehe, mine falls asleep in his chair and if I change it, he wakes up immediately!  Now, laides, 'spain this one Roll Eyes

I'm a die hard football fan also but I never have liked it being on Monday Nights and still don't.  Guess I might as well get used to it, for our life and football is not going to change!

Last night I give him a lot of credit for being thoughtful of me.  I was upstairs working on this 'puter and he turned it to CBS for the hour shows are on that we both like.  He said he did it for me, now everyone say AHHHHHH!  Well, it was very thoughtful and I appreciate him being this way.  Now ya'll know why I've kept him all these years

Ok, update this past weekend for football and TV!  Here we are on Saturday night, comfy in our new leather reclining chairs, all ready to watch BB5, then the Olympics.
Whoa, what do I hear, we are also watching the Dallas :fbhelmet: Cowboys first :football: exhibition game. Roll Eyes  Surprize,  :surprised:surprize to me!

When you  drive behind a car with a bobble head doll over the back seat, think of me.  That is how I felt the entire night!  The remote goes back and forth and then to another station and then back around the
tri-station shows!  Back and forth, back and forth, trying to catch one when the other advertises!  That doesn't work for they all advertise at the same time Shocked

By the time the night is over I'm feeling like the  :dizzy:girl in "The Exorcist" with the spinning head!  Anyone else ever have this spinning head  :uhoh: from trying to watch too many shows at one time Huh

Now I don't remember if Jase really left the BB house or ran for a touchdown, or if the Hamm Brothers entered the BB house and sent the Alabama twins home.  Did Testaverde swim the 200 meter or work the Pummel Horse?  See how confusing trying to view three TV shows at one time can be, a very dizzy evening :dizzy:

Now, do really think Sunday was any better?  Nah, BB5 was replaced with a  :golf: tournament Undecided
Aw, the things we do for LUV Tongue Kiss

Ladies, do you think it's time we mutiny?

That is if they don't get rained out.  The weather map looks as if the whole states of Alabama and Mississippi will be drenched.  Georgia loooks dry, for Frances is expected to turn west at this moment.

Hey, we're going to the first high school game of our alma mater tonight Grin
Our PIRATES  :pirate:  play the Wildcats.   And the COWBOYS won one this week Grin

I'm a big fan of the New England Patriots. I think they are headed to yet another Super Bowl victory this year. I also like local high school football. Our little school is undefeated so far this season. The team was only started 4 years ago, fun to watch those kids play.
