Update on Wings

My mom seemed to be doing better on Saturday, she was awake most of the day. She was trying to communicate with us but the words just dont come out. We had her try to write because her strength in her hands seemed better, but that didnt work We then wrote the alphabet and asked her to spell out the words but that didnt work We basically were playing sherades after that, which also failed, then she started laughing so hard and we all laughed. At least her spirits are up, I think a lot of people would be very frustrated but she wasnt!

Sunday was even better. She opens her mouth with her finger to get it going. I understood the word terrible (which she was referring to the tube in her nose) Also she said both of my sons names The flowers you all sent showed up as we were leaving last night! So, of course we went back in to see her receive them. She cried with joy!!!! The flowers were so beautiful!!! She couldnt stop looking at them and she wanted to hold the card that was sent! Thankyou all so much, you really made her day, week , everything! She wants to get better, and I am starting to believe she will.
