Midnight in the Garden

Well it is touch and go with the hurricane at this point.  I have plans to leave work at 2:00 tomorrow and drive over to Savannah.  To meet one of my best friends who is flying in from California.  Can I just say how much I LOVE Savannah.

Anyhow, we will see what the progress of the storm is tomorrow and make a decision then. But as far as I'm concerned, it's a go.

We have a beautiful room reserved at the finest bed and breakfast in the historic downtown district.   A minivan tour is scheduled for Saturday morning which includes all of the Midnight filming sites and the Bonaventure Cemetary.  I would like to make it out to Tybee Island in the afternoon as it will rain all day on Sunday.

Saturday evening we have tickets to see a live performance by The Lady Chablis.  If you don't know who she is check out her website.  It is hysterical.

On Sunday it will rain all day and that is just fine.  I think this would be the day for the City Market.

Need to go and finish packing.  Hope you all have a wonderful and fun Labor Day weekend.  I will let you know if we have to cancel.

Then I will be one miserable b--ch all weekend.

Well  then , since you warned us as to your attitude if you have to cancel, by all means, "git outta town"! Grin

I do wish you a safe trip and lots of fun and laughs with your friend!  Now you can send me hints on things to do in Savannah.  We've only been on the outskirts of town during a snow!  Savannah and Charlston is on our list of places to visit next Cool
Be safe and keep some type of weather update on your radio.
And I want a full account and pictures of all this fun in Savannah Kiss

Since it weakening, our D-in-law's parents are staying home in Melbourne.  Their house is made of concrete blocks!  Their concern is the water and they don't care to be stranded somewhere in their car.  Makes sense to me!

So, you go Cooland have a wonderful weekend.   I went to the sight of the restaurant, yummy! Grin

Hey you all!  Boy, do I have some good stories to tell.  But they will have to wait till I get home tomorrow.  We survived the cabaret show last night with Lady Chablis.  The other "ladies" who performed were just as good.  Got lots of pictures though I'm not sure the board is ready for them.   Wink   Don't think you will get to see them all.  lol

Headed out to eat at Lady and Sons.  Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!
