do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and
put our useless junk in the garage.

7. Only in America......
do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call
waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to
talk to in the first place.

8. Only in America......
do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of
eight.

9. Only in America......
do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well:
"Poli" in Latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking
creatures".

10. Only in America......
do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

Only in America can we laugh at such things and still see something positive!

Yeah in time. But for now, my close friends here(since my best friend is already there in Georgia) are all girls and Caucasians(or half atleast)... I dont know, but I seem to get along well with liberated minds or in my place atleast - girls who arent controlled by confirmity and likes stuffs that isnt really limited on what is popular with the current trends.

But when I get there first on the list is see Aerosmith live as well as a WWE event! That smiley looks like Jesicca or whatever her name is - the girl from "Roger Rabbit".

Yes, we've wondered the same thing. I'm sure it is because of the narcotics. If they were at the front, that could set up an easy robbery for the drugs. Just a thought.

hmm.. I liked this one.. especially #4... hmm... the US do serve.. BIG burgers with Tons of fries and served with a small Soda..... take note that if you'd compare the small Soda in the US... it is already Jumbo size here... and softdrinks there are refillable....

whew!... i'd say that I broke my diet during my stay there... hehehee.... Grin

and I agree with red... they are not all happening in the US... #9 is common here... we have poly (many) tics (bloodsucking creatures) here in Congress and Municipal Halls too.. heheheh... Grin
