What is the BEST Concert...

you've ever seen?  I've seen many many concerts in my lifetime.  Elton John so many times that I can't remember.  Don't think I can pick just one favorite so I will do the top 3:

The Righteous Brothers and Paul Revere and the Raiders in Las Vegas (don't expect many of you to remember Paul Revere)    Wink

Janet Jackson for best performance. That chick is HOT in concert.

The Rolling Stones for best show.

I would have to have mine in a top three as well

I saw billy Joel and elton John together, they were amazing and I saw Billy Joel alone too.

I saw phil collins with genesis, also amazing

I also saw Aerosmith, they were incredible

sheesh, I forget who else I even saw.  I have never seen a concert I was disappointed in though

AVS, you give me chuckles each day, keep it up Grin

Hmmm, We've seen a lot of entertainers, but the best is a toss up!
In Vegas I've seen Wayne Newton, who gives an awesome performance.
One year we saw the master of smooth songs, Frank Sinatra.
Debbie Reynolds, Jim Stafford,Bobbie Gentry, Johnny Cash/June Carter, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Scaggs, The Whites, Ray Stevens, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Tanya Tucker, Osmond Brothers, and some I can't think of right now!

Years ago I went to a concert that featured all the top Rock 'n Roll artists.
It was awesome Grin  Not to mention all the Broadway Musicals I've seen over the years Cool

Well I have to say Aerosmith! I have seen them countless of times in my dreams, and I guess dreams and reality are the same right? angel and azure, God I envy you two!!! All I have are pics from concerts sent by my friend in Canada, and some video... and their Y2K concert live in Japan.

Sad

Bon Jovi from what I saw got the best reactions from the people.

Once I finally settle down in US, Ill make up for my 24 years wasted not watching concerts of bands I like... Ill watch til I drop!

Hands down, Ben Folds.  I saw him once at Summerfest in Milwaukee and he is definitely an entertainer.  Actually, I'm going to see him next Tuesday again at Marquette University in Milwaukee.  (My first time driving to Milwaukee...I'm a little nervous!)  I heart Ben Folds.

(That and the only other concert I've been to was NSYNC when I was in seventh grade!)

(If you listen to the clips, my personal favorite off this album was Dinosaur)

They are a band from the 70's who were associated & tied to other bands such as Yes and Genesis.  The tour I saw was just amazing.  They tour with 2 guitarists, 2 bassists and 2 drummers.  One of the bassists plays a "chapman stick" which is like a 10 stringed bass. The other bassist did the majority of the bass work on Peter Gabriel's late 80's early 90's stuff like "In Your Eyes".  They disappeared for several years due to a really bad record contract that they ultimately just decided to wait out until it expired, and finally resurfaced in the mid 90's.  Their concert was so different to others I had been to because it seemed to intimate.  The guitar work, especially, is just so different and beautiful on a lot of their songs.  They don't play with a synthesizer/keyboard at all, but instead the main guitarist has a machine he invented called "Frippertronics" that he filters his guitar through and makes sounds you'd never thought a guitar possible of.  Every song, the audience just sat entranced and quietly listened, and then at the end we'd all jump up and applaud.. it was like a standing ovation at the end of every song and then everyone would sit back down all respectful of each other and just enjoy the next song.  I'm not a tall person and it always drives me crazy when I go to a concert and someone 6 foot tall in front of me decides to stand the whole time.  I like to go to a concert to both listen AND watch.

oh.. I'd say it would be Side A Band.. a Filipino band... a crowd favorite here in the Philippines...

those foreign (US/UK) performers who have gone here that I've seen is only Boyz2Men...  but I'd guess the best Concert that could have been here is Michael Jackson's HIStory tour... which I wasn't able to watch...Cheesy

I liked concerts but usually go watch local bands.. foreign performers that come here lately like Angela Boufil, David Pomeranz and other ballad singers are quite expensive to watch...  anyways, I missed the Linkin Park and Hoobastank concerts here in Manila...
