Sorry to post this, but Im just happy... I can finally be online 24/7 without fearing that I missed some important phone calls(thats why I usually use it late at night)...  
 
Anyways if I may ask, how much are DSL over there? As well as dial up monthly?
 
Right now, Im subscribed at a 384kbps for around $35 a month.

I am also thinking of signing up for a broadband connection, but I'm not sure if we can fit it in our budget for now. Also, I have trouble connecting to the Internet from my home. I dunno if it's the modem or the motherboard, but my neighbor's connection is fine. That's why I always use the office's Internet.  Cheesy
 
So $35 = PhP 2,000?

Yeah, 2000 Php... Try other net-cards if it still wont work its the modem. Or maybe the modem is kinda lose at the motherboard. Most motherboards dont cause that much problems, and if they do, it affects all others.
