The only thing I remember was a lamp in a raffle. It was a fund raiser for the local animal shelter, and they had a variety of unrelated items as prizes.

We won a weekend at a posh golf resort near Boston in a high school PTA raffle. But our "hotel curse" went with us too. We were on the 12 th floor and there were several fire alarms/evacuations during each night which meant descending the staircase in the middle of the night in our PJ's (my hubby in just a trench coat Shocked

). But despite this, and a lot of yawning during the day, the golf was superior and the spa in the room soothing!

Back in middle school (jr. high) & early high school, a friend of mine and I won a bunch of stuff from the radio over the course of the summer (records, concert tickets and such). I've also won (earned?) some awards along the way for various achievements. I won a bunch of quarters in Vegas last week. Grin

When I was in first grade, I won a camcorder from Shopko. That was 12ish years ago. At the time, this camcorder was worth approx. $1000...and my parents had to pay taxes on it. Wink

We just actually got a new on last April, so it lasted a very long time.

When I was 17 and working on week ends at a furniture store that was going bankrupt...I had a lot of time to listen to the radio and I was calling everytime there was a contest. During that short period of time, I won a week end at a chic hotel (that I gave to my parents cuz I was underage!) I also won lots of plays tickets, restaurants discounts and free meals.

Last thing I won was almost 3 years ago. $300 at a half\half charity event.

hmmm... actually i'm not lucky in raffles, gambling or on anything...

except a few years back when our office had our christmas party where I won a 16in industrial fan.. and the year after a christmas ham....

hmm... after that... haven't won anything again.. Cheesy

A medal when I was in elementary from winning the chess tournament out of 3 different branches of my school. Dont play chess now though. I left my geekiness years ago when I lost my innocence.

And the heart of some girls(ex-gfs, close friends, etc.) who are extremely nice and sweet and pretty... And that Im proud the most(except the ones who broke and ransacked my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!)...

I have never won a single thing in my life. But, I look at it from the cosmic balance thing. If I don't have incredible good luck I won't have incredible bad luck to balance the scales.

But I sure would love to win the lottery and have to deal with that balance. Grin

Not a good thing to win...we did a class demonstration of the book yesterday, my group got the black dot of death, so one of us was to be stoned (with paper balls), luckily it wasn't me Wink

. So winning isn't necesarrily great. I won a penny once! Grin
