What do you want for Christmas?

Let's not be cavalier, now.  C'mon and be materialistic for a moment.  What (besides world peace and family love) do you want or are you hoping to find under the tree?

I both need and want a pair of Birkenstocks but it looks like I'll have to settle instead for a pair of Clarks.

I'd also like a simple pair of gold hoop earrings.

More RAM for my computer!

Actually my favorite gift at Christmas I get each year, is that my mom comes in for a visit and we go to the theatre several times to watch films, or alternately she babysits and my husband and I get to watch stuff.  It's hard to get a babysitter and so I tend to save up a lot of movies for the end of the year, and thankfully a lot of the really good ones usually come out about that time.

What I would really like is for all of the people in Iraq who desire to blow themselves up as a martyr to spend eternity with all those virgins . . . .

. . . . well, my wish is for all of them to get together and do it all at one time, preferably out in the desert, where none of our troops are located.

I'd love to have a comfortable computer chair. The one I have causes such backaches.   I'm so darn practical!

Hmmm, let me think about this for a few days Roll Eyes

I like just about anything I'm given, for I do like new clothes, perfume sets, and never can Mr L go wrong with jewelry.  However, I have only 10 fingers and two wrists and enough is enough, right?   This year I don't have one item on my list!
something through the year, we get it.  Isn't that what we all do?

The ONE item that we both need is new pillows Cool  We now have down pillows, which have "ducked" and yes, I do laundry them!
Do any of you have memory foam pillows?  I'm ready to try something new with pillows.  What opinion or experience do ya'll have in the pillow area?

Other than something we both need, I doubt that we will spend a lot on each other this year.  If we need it or really want  something throughout the year, we get it, don't ya'll?

Other than having our family around us, I can't think of any "must haves" for me.

Mom and Dad always let us open 1 gift on Christmas Eve, as long as it was a clothing item from Grandma! Now I look forward to those. My, have times changed. Grin

:laff:  I DO remember trying to look grateful and enthusiatic when, as a kid, I'd open a gift that had clothing inside.

Now, of course, I'm either enthusiastic or at least looking for the store tag to know where I can get the item exchanged!

All my kids wear are hand-me-downs (and no, I'm not ashamed) so they are always pleased to get clothing as presents.

Money's pretty tight this year, so I doubt I'll get anything...but I could really use a new coffeemaker and, maybe, the use of a handyman for a day to help me fix broken stuff around the house.

Actually, I'm dreading Christmas because all my kids won't be able to make it home this year for the first time.  But as long as they're happy, healthy and safe, I will be thankful.

Conniejoe, we have a coffee maker that has a clock and a timer on it.  I really like it because I can set the machine to start making coffee before we wake up in the morning.  It's nice to awaken to the smell of fresh-brewed coffee.

Our machine is a Mr. Coffee and I'm sure it wasn't too expensive--'cause if it had been, we wouldn't have gotten it!  Wink

CJ, I hope you get your coffeemaker and work done for Christmas.  Smiley
