It's 8 nights long (this tuesday night to next tuesday night).
 
Um, we celebrate by lighting the menorah, prayers, and songs and that stuff.
 
And the best part is the presents. Grin
 
And usually on one of the Chanukah nights that falls on a weekend my extended family gets together.

Tell us what the lights stand for.  Do you light a candle each night?  Is the menorah a traditional candle stand that is passed from family to family--like an heirloom--or is it something that a household buys for themselves?
 
As far as the presents go, does your family draw names or do you each get and give presents to each other, to friends, and to work associates?
 
You've got a great chance here to educate this shicksa, Sonic!  Go for it!  Wink
