Well, last night my laptop blew up  Cry. I called HP and I sent it to them today. My husband is giving me his to use until I get mine back. Luckily it is still under warranty, so I get either a brand new one or my old one fixed.

Goodbye Lappy... I remember with fond memories our times together.  Cry

They came by to pick her up yesterday.  Cry It was hard to say goodbye, but I know she is in good hands. They told me it will be back in 3-5 business days, so I'm looking forward to the week ahead.  Cool

Mum, do you have back problems?  Or issues, as the Doctors say today!

Rachel, I have an HP Computer upstairs and it is 5 years old, had it overhauled last summer.  I could have bought a new one for what that cost Roll Eyes......and I've been looking at a new Dell.

........................but I purchased this Dell Laptop the end of October 2003, didn't get cranking on it until after the first of 2004 and I LUV it!
It sits on the end of the serving bar between the kitchen and family room.
Very easy access for me to do household chores and stop by and read/post, and still get things done at home.
Believe it or not, but I can talk on the phone, type or read on this computer, be making dinner, all at the same time.  Not easy, but can do!

I may never have a large computer again and go upstairs a few times each week to keep it updated with security and open attachments to email people send me Wink
A multi tasked woman, I am  Roll Eyes

Don't know if I could adjust to a lappy.  Got a HUGE desktop w/ a HUGER monitor (20").  Tried laptops and can't quite maneuver w/ them.  They're too itty-bitty.  I'd have to break down and get glasses or something. Wink
