The Incredibles - a recent movie

I would like some feedback from those who have seen this movie as to whether it is suitable for a 6 year old child.
 
I had heard when it first came out, from a friend, that it was likely not suitable for my daughter but now they are showing it at her school as a movie night and I don't know if I should send her or not.

We went to the movies last week end and saw the Incredibles.
 
Mimi said it was too long.  Roll Eyes
 
It is ok for Wednesday to see it, unless you are really really cautious with what she watches.  Mimi doesnt watch any Pokemon Digimon killerrobots stuff, but I had no problem letting her watch that movie. I did not see anything that could be offending or disturbing for Mimi in the Incredibles.
 
I would say, like Shrek 2, there is a second level message there, that the kids wont pick up on and the parents will.

I guess this film is good for kids... it maintains a low level of violence.. and offers a good sense of family values.... I think this would be a movie for the family... Grin
