In the way you dress, that is!  How would you describe your wardrobe preferences?

I'm conservative and boring when it comes to what I wear.  I love to wear black when I dress up but I never wear dresses.  My favorite attire is probably a comfy old pair of jeans and a big sweatshirt.  When I need to dress up a bit, I just wear a simple shell-type shirt, black pants, and a sweater.  The less of my body I show off, the better for everyone!

hmm..not quite as conservative as Rupey, but still pretty conservative.  I wear jeans or Khackis everyday, with a sweater or a t-shirt.  I do like my jeans to be hip huggers though, i just find them much more comfortable.

In Dressing up, i like to wear skirts and dresses.  Nothing to flashy though.

I'm all over the board. I have dresses in my closet that are very flashy, but on an every day basis, I'm usually in jeans and a t-shirt. Although when I'm working, it's generally scrubs!

I couldn't agree more! We go through a lot. I've had the most complicated and beligerant patients I couldn't have even imagined before I went into the field. Undecided YIKES!

You must have just treated my b/f, he was very unrulely when he was in the hospital.  There was a visitor ban when he was in a few weeks ago so I could only visit with him in the summer room and I spoke with him on the phone in the evening, one evening I heard him being nasty and I laid into him, after that when ever he spoke to a nurse and i was around or on the phone with him he was as nice as pie.

For my dressing style, I wear a lot of conservative clothes, I work at a bank, I wear dress pants and sweaters or blouses.  On my off time I like comfy clothes, jeans and sweaters.  And when I got out, I have some cute little numbers, nice and flashy shirts, but with jeans or dress pants

Rupey, I can't believe you started this thread, for I was thinking of this very thing only this morning! Roll Eyes

When I was a [ahem]Career Woman/Sales Rep/Cosmetic Co., I wore suits, 3 " heels, etc.!
I'm very much a girly girl and love to dress up!  I loved Flash [before Dolly ever thought about it] years ago.

My Mom gets credit for this for she dressed me this way as I was growing up.  Everything HAS to match, period!  She would make my dresses, buy a matching yd of ribbon for .05 and a matching pair of socks for .25.  This was during WW2.

Now that I'm retired it's jopgging suits/capris/shorts for me and dress up for Church on Sunday.  I still cannot get used to the idea of wearing pants to Church ladies.

If we go to a movie or out to eat, it's matching pants suit.
As we've traveled quite a bit, I have a closet section for those kinds of clothes/cruises/beach areas/after 5 formal dress.

I've never thrown away a piece of jewelry or evening bag.  I even have the one my high school boyfriend[who was Mr L's best friend] gave me for my birthday to have for the Prom our Junior/his Senior year.

On formal nights on the ship, I love for us to dress up in Tux and Formal Wear.  Love to do the same at Christmas for the Company Party.

Dressing up give me a feel good feeling, but I wouldn't want to do it every day!

As for shoes now, running/walking shoes/back out!  Nothing more than a 2" heel on dress shoes.  Casual clothes; Clarks, Naturalizer.  My feet and Birkenstocks do not gt along well for I have a very high instep, but I wish I culd wear them.

Neither of us have had on anything except jogging suits since the first week of January.  I'm ready for Spring!

Not meaning to sound rude but I'm very tired of deniim.  I have a lot, have a lot that is trimmed up also.

..........but when I worked two days a week and a woman came into the store with hair rolled up on top of her head, she would always have on a denim skirt or jumper.   Instinctly we all knew which denomination she belonged to...................
not to be rude about anyone's religion, however it has turned me off denim a bit.
To each his own!

Luci, I used to be so bad that my best friend knew that when I died and was put in the coffin, my fingernails better match my lipstick.   Cheesy  Now everyone knows I want to be buried in Russell Athletic sweats or shorts and one of my old worn out fave t-shirts.

When I left the "corporate" world, I left behind pantyhose forever. In the last 5 years, the only time I wore them was to church on Easter Sunday 3 years ago.  And they were a light lilac to match my suit.  Never worn em since.

I dress casually for work mostly in slacks or long skirts. As soon as I get home, I am out of my clothes within 5 minutes, into shorts or sweats and a tshirt.  But then again, I have no one to impress.  Tabby likes to be comfortable too.   Grin
