Now I am searching for an update on Mr. Luci.  How are you all doing Luci?  
 
Are the patient and nurse still getting along?  how is the patient progressing?  
 
I am thinking of you and sending prayers.  Would love an update.  Thanks.

Thank you for asking.  He's progressing nicely and doing what the doctor has told him.  Still using crutches, he says after he's gone to this much pain and trouble, he is going to be a good patient.  He hopes to be ready for golfing in another 4 weeks.
 
We do fine housed up together, watch old movies, westerns, golf tournaments, and then repeat all of that over again.  After all, being together is what we've wanted for years!  Cheesy
 
I have two days left on this strong medication, I'll be so glad.  Looks like for the rest of my life, I'll have to be very careful about intake of foods. Roll Eyes
 
A friend just stopped by with a bowl of Creamy Potao Soup and we devoured it Cool
Very yummy, now her Mom ismaking an Egg Custard Pie for us! Grin
As you can tell lately all we do is eat and watch TV.  We're ready for Spring. Wink

I will add that this doctor did a great job of repositioning the bone and his foot looks normal.  Get out of the way men, he'll be back with better leverage and  :golf:  than ever before Wink

So happy to hear that Lucy.  I can only hope that Mr. Mum recovers as well as Mr Lucy seems to be doing.

Mr Luci is waiting for me to drive him to the Doctor for a checkup Cool
 
Sunday afternoon I went over to the Nursing Center to check on Mom.  
When I returned he was walking without his crutches. Shocked
He had been next door with our friend smoking a cigar (YUK) and drinking a few beers! Roll Eyes
He told me that inspired him to chuck the crutches when he got home!
 
Well, OK, I told him if he'd had 3 or 4 more he might could walk on water in the pool Grin
 
He just gave me a look, anyway, he's been walking more this week without the crutches and he's definitely on the mending road to golfing again!  
Our neighbor retired yesterday and they have fishing on their minds now also Wink  
Golf  :golf: and fishing  :fishing: is foremost on his mind!
Guess I fit in there somewhere Roll Eyes

Good report today!  All inside the foot is healing very well.
He'll start trying to wear a jogging shoe for a few hours per day.  
Guess those beers helped Cool Roll Eyes
