How do you rate your competitiveness and ego?

I admit I'm a very competitive person (if I am motivated) and I am a big ego.  Lips Sealed

I am a level-headed person Grin Grin Grin...I love to win, also enjoy teasing...will laugh if I do not win all the time....to me games are for fun, not life-threatening.

If I was on a reality show, with a large ammount of money, I would be very competitive, but if it's just a board game, or something like that I'm not

Well, if I was on a reality show, I'd do whatever it takes to win! If I were on Survivor, I would backstab people. If I was on TAR, I'd yield them any chance I could!!  Grin

But like Jenna said, just playing normal games, I don't care. It's only a game.  Cheesy

(and that makes 1001 posts!!  Grin)

I have always been fiercely competitive and I'm ashamed to admit that I am a sore loser....always have been.

In any game I have ever played, my only purpose is to win...period.  Anything less is unexceptable.  Needless to say, my family has banned me from playing board games with them because I tend to take things too seriously.

lol bunnielou, you would get along well with my family.  We play cards once a month and it can get hot and heavey.  I did say I was not a poor loser earlier but when it comes to a certain card game I can be a little sore when I am losing.

I feel that I am a sore loser. Whenever I lose a game, it hurts me (lol). But I try my best not to show it. I've joined a lot of online Games, and since I can't really lose anything there, if I lost the Game (and if I feel crazy) I rant publicly. I call out people, etc. Cheesy

Both Mr Luci and I were taught early in life to win by our basketball coach.  We worked out hard, played games hard, for ourselves and because he instilled that burning desire to win in us!  We both STRIVE to win in any game.
Before us, he was a strong example in so many ways
that prepared us for our adult years.  We treasure his memory Cool

When I play golf with Mr L, I play with the idea to win,
makes him more head's up on his game!
Knowing how competitive I am, he plays a better game,
instead of having a "practice" round with me. Wink

As for board games, sometimes I'm good, sometimes not!  Most board games are a game of chance on how the numbers come up on the die.

It is a proven fact, people who have participated in sports, etc., in highschool, college are the majority of successful people in the business world.  More own their own companies are #1 in Sales, are CEO's, Presidents, etc.

Being CAPTAIN of a team sets one up for success in later life.
