I was just wondering, no one's ever tried to hack FN before, have they? Because another board I go to, it's been hacked!! I can't log in or anything!! That's just wierd.... last night I posted and it was fine.

I've heard there have been several boards hacked recently. The key thing is that they are boards running a different kind of software than we are, so they probably exploited a bug in that particular software that we would not be vulnerable to here. To date we have not been hacked, but there's always a possibility someone may find a way at some point, it's just a risk you take when you have a community on the web. There are a lot of jackasses out there that get their kicks off doing stuff like that. However, our servers are fairly secure and admin functions aren't handed out to anyone outside of company employees, so our risk is fairly low.
