Bec, while I know that getting over glandular desease or mononeuclosis is not life threatening, it is also important you get the rest you need or it can develop into something more serious.

Ask your Doctor if he thinks you contracted it from a germ maybe brought in on your husban'ds gym clothes? Maybe eh should change upon entering the house and shower before he has much contact with you or the baby. Just a thought here!

At least now I know w hy I'm feeling so tired and lethargic!....there really is nothing I can do but rest and do as the doctor says. Because I'm breastfeeding naturally there is no medication I can take, I just need to eat well and relax.

because this disease affects the liver I am not allowed any alcohol for 6 months Shocked

....that sucks!

Luci Adam always showers and changes before he comes home and as he shows no symptoms it's unlikely he carried the germ.

Rhune I hope you get better soon too.......a cold is a miserable thing to have.

Our daughter-in-law had this last year with a demanding job and toddlers 2 and 4. Guess that's why she came down with it! Too busy and stressed out!

Luci adam is doing all he can to help around the house and with the baby as is Clara.

Our easter holidays start on fiday so both Adam and Clara
wont have to go to work or school during that time so they can help me as much as possilble. It's not that i don't want to do things it's just that I'm so physically drained that my body just doesn't have the energy to do anything!

I'm reading alot and also doing alot of writing....trying to keep my mind active at least..........I miss walking my dogs and playing with the baby....not that he does anything more eat, sleep and poo his nappies Grin

hopefully it wont be much longer before I'm back to my old self and causing trouble again!

I know it's boring lying in bed, but it won't be forever. If I remember correctly, you need rest particularly in the beginning until the swelling in the glands subsides? I remember the doctor warning us about the enlarged spleen in particular.

Maybe you could finish your Adam story while you're incapacitated. (hint, hint)
