uggh!
what i hate the most is when you don't check up online for a while. there is so much stuff to catch up on in forumsnet and some of my other favorites!
if you miss one thing, you also miss 50 others

I'm with you JP, i know what you are referring to. I don't read them all either, beyond the first page anyway.

I get irritated when i am on my dialup and trying to load a webpage that has a really big advertisement on it. It takes 10 minutes just to load that before i even get to the page!! Angry

Ya I know what you mean, some webpages have so many ads and stuff and it takes forever to load on dial-up.

And also, I agree there are more than 200 \0 member but the most I have seen on at once is like 20. SOmetimes I feel stupid too, cuz I am all by myself in the TAR forums, posting away.

Yeah! Before the problem was the pop-ups. When they invented the pop-up blocker, they use JavaScript to pop messages onto your screen! And yes, most pages takes eons to load in a dial-up. It's either they are only thinking of people with broadband connection or we are really behind on our modem technology. LOL.

You know what is really annoying? Those popups that take up the whole screen! (Are those the JavaScript ones?) You can't get out of them! The X button is like grayed out and you can't click on it. The only way to get out of it is to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete and get off the internet.

I even got one of those here on Forumsnet one time! Angry
