My Deepest Regrets and Apologizing

Dear Members of Forumsnet,

I am sorry about my post(s) in you-know-what topic. I did not mean to offend anyone and I did not try to make it humerous. It was just a weak attempt to prepare the British for America. I also didn't mean to offend any Americans by calling them names. The 'names' I called them weren't meant to be offensive. I was just trying to describe my opinion of Americans in general. I am most particularly sorry to luci, bumper, and rupey for taking my post the wrong way. I am sorry to all others for wasting your time and if I did, offending you. I can understand why you may have thought of the post as highly offensive, but i did not mean to hurt anyone in any way. If Rhune or Bumper are reading this post, i would like either of you two to delete the topic completely, then this topic. Once again I send my deepest regrets and I apologize for causing the controversy and uproar.

Highly Sorry,
TAR_4_life

TAR, please don't think anymore about this.  You don't need to apologize.

I certainly have no hard feelings against you.

That was a very nice apology, TAR_4_life.  I didn't comment on your post, because I know humor is very easily misunderstood.    Misunderstandings happen to all of us at some time or other.   Just count this as a lesson in life and move on.   Again, I  appreciate your apology.

TAR, I didn't read your thread so I can't comment on it's contents.  However, I CAN see that it's bothering you.  Please put it behind you and move on.  You are a valued member of our community and I for one accept your apology.

You've apologized enough and don't keep beating yourself up.
Let it go, sayonara, goodbye!  Tomorrow it won't matter anyway.
As for me, I did not understand what you meant when I first read it.

Sometimes it is difficult to put thoughts and feelings into words in the way we want it to be taken.
We've all had to learn and life's lessons are hard!

Then reading how others 'could' take it, I did try to bury it to page 2,
only to avoid any more controversy for you.

I was NOT attempting to manipulate this forum in any way!

Other threads have been posted down to page 2 or 3 before.
No one called us manipulative three weeks ago.
Remember ladies?

I have no grudge to you Tar, not one!
Let it go and enjoy being a teenager Cool
