Bumper I seem to recall that this may not be your real birthday but it's coming up really soon and it's got something to do with April Fool's or I am not sure.  I DO KNOW that you are having a birthday soon and I hope it's wonderful! :golf:

BUTT, ain't America great!  I have it on good authority that we Aries didn't corner the market.  There are still plenty enough to go around.  Wink
 
 
That being said, today is NOT a good day.  It has been cold and rainy here for the past few weeks and my regular foursome of retirees was very eager to get back out on the golf course again.  Yesterday, FINALLY, it was sunny!  Perfect weather for a round of golf with old friends.  Sadly, it turned out to be one of the worst days I have experienced.
 
We met as usual for breakfast and then headed out to one of the very exclusive Country Clubs here in our area for a much needed social round of golf.  One of our group, Charlie, had received the free round of golf for the entire foursome as a Christmas present and we were all eager to play there since it's almost impossible to play there without being a member.
 
The golf started out great . . .  until the fifth hole.  Unfortunately, the one furtherest away from the Clubhouse.  Charlie, a Father of two, Grandfather of four, my closest friend for over forty years, one of the most likable guys you would ever want to meet, suffered a massive heart attack and died.  We tried CPR but there was no use.  I believe he was gone time he hit the ground.
 
I am devastated.  He was like a brother to me.

Meanwhile I had already passed the news on to NBAChick who was also devastated so I think I will now go pick up the pieces.
