Good morning sleepyhead. I see you are in da house!

Since the waiting room has been shut down I figured we needed a place to hear updates and such.

So how does it feel having that bowling ball out of your tummy?   Cheesy

You doing okay?

We're both home at this point, thank goodness my husband has this time off to help me, cause I'm a wreck physically.  C-section was much harder than a regular delivery.  I didn't take well to the anesthesia they used and spent about 8 hours throwing up after a fresh incision.  Now that I'm back home my incision is showing signs of infection, so I'm on heavy duty pain meds as well as heavy duty antibiotics.  Feeling pretty yicky most of the time and doing a lot of laying down as a result.

Rhune, take care of yourself.  I had a C-section with my first and the best thing you can do is follw Dr.'s orders to the letter.  Don't overdo anything. Get well soon!!!

Oh goodness Rhune, is your Mom still there also?
Will both your little boys be gone to school during the day?
Please be very careful and take care of yourself.
I also understand about throwing up after a surgery, as the nurse didn't increase my drip after a transplant in the third vertabrae in my neck.  I remember that feeling Lips Sealed

LL, get a ten lb of flour, strap it to your tummy, then strap another 10 lb to your backside, then strap another ten lb to your front top.  Then you'll get the idea of the heaviness Wink

Take care Rhune, I hope you are better very soon  Cool

Unfortunately my mom had to fly back yesterday, so she's not around to help out anymore.  My husband has been a great big help though, so it's not like I have to do this all on my own, thankfully.  I am feeling a bit better today, now that I have been on the antibiotics for a day, feeling a little bit more myself.

I hope all signs of infection disappear.  It's tough enough dealing with the incision, and weakness that follows surgery.  I hope you regain your strength fast.
