My "hunky hunk" decided he needed to loose a few after going to the Doctor and saw on the scale sitting around for the past two months gave him 10 extra pounds. Along with yours truly Roll Eyes

Furious about this, he is on a major diet! Finally!

Now he is listening to me about what foods to eat with what to get it off! It is so much easier for me with him loosing with me Wink

Ok, Baked Potato last night, Grilled Steak tonight/Salad.
No yummy Texas Toast Sad

Yea, It's coming off!

Anyone else on a diet and it's working for you?

Good for you, luci! I'm not on a diet, per se, just trying to be careful about what I put in my mouth without depriving myself of any major food groups. I don't do deprivation very well these days. I was interested in the "mediterranean" diet, but never got to a book store to read a little more about it. Jorge Cruise was on GMA to promote his book, "The Three Hour Diet" which seemed to work on some people.....again, haven't got the book. That's the curse of living in a small town without a book store. Did a little looking on the internet, but there's nothing like having the book in hand for inspiration and a ready source of info. Meantime, I watch portions and try to avoid snacking. The few snacks I've had recently were lo-cal. I lost 3 1/2 pounds if I can believe my scales. Now if I can just stay good. :crossfingers:

I used to be a vegetarian, and I lost alot of wieght that way, but I lost to much, and my doctor thought I was anerexic! So I started to eat meat again about 4 years ago.

Good grief, you're losing it fast, Luci! I never lose that fast, even when I was drinking slimfast (shudder) As I said before, with me, deprivation just leads to falling off the diet and regaining what I lost. Trying to eat sensibly, while stressing over taxes......too darn hard.
