Storm Season Is Here!

Last evening around 6:30 p.m., we had a short,  but bad storm.  My car was parked on the drive as close to the fence and garage as I could get it.  The first hail was small and we were relieved, then it got bigger and we knew it was dinging the car. Cry
 
At least we did get one auto into safety. Wink
 
The contents of the garage are all the items I've been cleaning out of the house.  Now I have dings in an expensive car for about $1,000 or less of Garage Sale items.  GOODWILL here we come, for this isn't happening to me again.  I've always kept my autos in the garage at night. Cry
 
I know, I know, it could have been worse, like me out in the middle of it getting my body dinged. Sad
 
Rhune, how did you fare last evening?   The worst  
of the storm was in your part of the country.
 
Lakelady, don't blame this on me, for I had nothing to do with it.  
It was obvious something was going to happen, winds were at 40 mph all afternoon and it was 83 degrees and humid.  A sure sign of trouble from the sky!

The storm hit us about 1AM (another scarey middle of the night storm) and we had heavy, heavy downpours.  I haven't checked the rain gauge yet.   I don't think it hailed or I'd see little broken branches all over the yard.
 
I'm sorry about your car, luci.  I hope it isn't dinged too bad.

I was worried about you guys when I saw your forecast last evening.  And there are lots of tornados going through LL's section of the country.  Sad

Other than my car having multi dimples now, we're OK!
I've made the dreaded call to the Insurance Claim Office. Cry
Someone will call us within 72 hours!
